Why didn't you take me too?

"Lynn,  ya got lots of weird sights to see biking. Nothin' near as purrty as me, of course.  And how come I have to stay home?"

These tiny dots are dozens of migrating Swallows.  Looked
like Tree Swallows from down below.

Sun and bad photo makes turkey look golden.  He's black.

"Lynn coasted behind this wild turkey down the bike path fur quite a
ways.  She was plannin' on bringin' it home fur Thanksgiving
Day.  But eventually she says the silly thing dropped off
into the woods."

Llama after a shave but needs a hair cut.

Iron Weed

Ageratum and Goldenrod

Blackheaded Vultures  (huge)

This is the sun at 9:30 AM one day on the bike path.
We have had so much rain and then days of fog, that
blue sky was not to be seen. This week has been the
sunniest in 2 months.

"Kin ya tell these mommas are still ready to feed their big
babies?  They got lots of milk left over.  I've never
drank milk here, so I wonder if I'm missin' out on
somethin' good?"

"Lynn,  I'm sittin' here at the counter waiting to
try somethin' good to eat or drink.  What's holdin'
you up!"

Precious, no milk in this house so I guess
you'll just have to be disappointed.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

It's best if you stay home Precious...You
don't wanna be out in that rain and wind,
best stay home, then you can enjoy like
the rest of us, the countryside, when Mum
puts it on line, in her Blog Post...! Be Safe..!x

Just thought...'Iron Weed' what a horrible name
for such a lovely flower, well it is pink, even so...! :(
Oh! And love the Blackheaded vultures...HeHe!
They look like fun...! :).

Off out in an hour or so...10.45 appointment at
the local chemist, for my Covid and Flu jabs....!
Easier at the chemist, they do them during the
week, where as the surgery only does them on
a Saturday.....! Silly day to be going to the surgery..!

NO! Milk in the house...There's a field full of cows
nearby Precious, tell Mum to get her wellies on and
go milk a few...HeHe! If Mum knows which end to
grab...oooops! Sorry! Milk...! :O)x

Well, Precious, Lynn certainly saw all sorts on her rides out on the bike! I knew a cat who used to ride in the front basket of her human's bike, with a 'safety belt'. I also know some cats who have travelled all over the planet in a van... but mostly, all the cats I know are home-bodies and on the whole, I'd say that was sensible! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

If Lynn got a basket for her bike, you could ride along too, Precious! She sure did see lots of fun stuff on her ride and the flowers are all so pretty!

Precious looks like Mom had a fine outing and I appreciate the
wonderful critters and flowers she snapped to share.
So did her shoes have an interesting scent when she returned

That turkey is best to stay out of sight for the time being.

A lot of different animals to be seen on your mum's bicycle trips, Precious, and that sun looks so wan it could be the moon on an early September evening. (The vultures weren't waiting for your mum to fall off her bike, were they?)

Precious, you're right that no matter how interesting the things Lynn sees on her rides, you're the best of them all and I'm sure a joy to come home to. ❤️❤️

What wonderful outings/rides you have had this past week Lynn - the sky looks wonderfully blue in your first pic. Still lots flowering away even though you are in autumn, still colour around.
Those stock look to be knee deep in good grass so no wonder they are still producing lots of milk for their babies.
No I don't really think you'd want to go out in a basket on Mums bike dear Precious - I think you're far safer at home waiting for your treats. Mum always comes back to you.
We have had a very mild week with no rain & I am watering already. We have had no fires this week & its only mid October - I normally burn until beginning November. I am a little worried that we might be headed for the big drought that the UK got this summer just gone. Not sure how the garden will cope with that (or myself). Have a lovely weekend. x0x0x

Your mom found some pretty flowers, but of course they are not as pretty as you, Precious!

You'd have to go out in some kind of pet backpack, which you might not enjoy and Lynn might not, either. Those are some nice photos of the blooms in your area. As for milk, you don't want it, you are probably lactose intolerant.

Lovely collection of photographs. Lynn.
Precious, you're much better staying at home, away from turkeys and vultures.

I saw a sight today that reminded me of your photo with all the birds. We were driving down the freeway and a hundred or so starlings settled on two of the direction signs that stretched across the freeway. A missed photo op as there was no way we could have stopped before they flew on again. A memory box moment :) I wanted to come back and tell you that, and it gives me a chance to enjoy your post again. Have a great day!
