We are now in Christmas spirit. I like to celebrate
Thanksgiving and then let that settle until Dec. 1.
I'll have the tree up until January 6 or 7. We need the
extra colorful light at this time of year.
It was 17 F when I put it up and snowing lightly.
"And I need a nap in my blue bag. Tree trimmin'
is tiring work fur a kitty. And we thank ye fur
the luv-ly well wishes fur-om last week.
And furry purry thanks to Miss Ann and June
fur my Christmas header."
Precious is inside for the winter. We had to take
down the catio fence before Thanksgiving due
to the extreme change in weather this early.
She misses outside and sits in the kitchen looking
out into the dark at 5:30 AM. And has her fresh air fix
looking out the bathroom window at 6 AM before ducking
under the bed for a long snooze.
And Willie, this pink tree if for you.

HeHe! Believe it or not, l have an 18 inch pink
tree with silver babbles, on the coffee table in
the front room...AND...it's been there for six years..
Yes! Six years, without being put away, so everyone
enjoys it, even in June...! :).
It's a pity there are 'no' handles on your blue bag
Precious, Mum could carry you about, save the old
legs a bit...HeHe! Did you see Miss Pippi in her
cardboard lid, goodness, a bit small that..! :).
Apparently, we had the coldest night of the year last
night, and there's a sharp frost this morning...
I'm gonna sort out my Christmas bag and see what
cards l have and on Sunday l shall built up the nativity
crib..still the same one my Mum bought when l was five
years old...! It'll take a couple of hours, but, well worth it!

Precious, it's far too cold to go outside. You can still watch everything through the window. Stay in the warm and enjoy the pretty lights.
Precious, your trees are lovely, the decorations so cheery and cosy for these dark days. You're a good ladycat, to stay away from the tree! Chumley and Annie were terrible with my trees, I think one year I didn't have one at all, but the boys actually were pretty good. Of course I learned quickly not to put anything breakable out. LOL.
Enjoy the window whiffies, and maybe dream of an early spring. :-)

This is a hard and very boring time for our kitties.
Ours can go outside but it often looks like they prefer to use the litter boxes in the garage instead of stepping into the cold and dark outside...
Inside the home, sunpuddles become quite rare and that adds to their boredom.
We don't have a tree since we got pets and when we had to move so often we took that volume off of our household items...

Eric used to pull over the tree on a regular basis. Flynn was able to climb up through the middle without even making it wobble.

That is a beautiful photo of sweet Precious with the tree in the background Lynn !! Just lovely. I would be getting copies printed off & attach them to use as Christmas cards I think. Everything looks wonderful - hard to believe about the cold & the snow - but that pink tree is rather adorable & may I be "second in line after Willie" please!! 😉🌲❤

Efurrything is changing all around you, Precious! Not least of which are not one but two Christmas trees! It's good to know one of them is keeping you in the pink, and that you have that duck under the bed for company.

I love the tree falling cartoon, most apt with cats in the house. These dark mornings and evenings aren't much fun, even for me, an outdoor cat.

By the way, you were amazed that Dani wore a coat. I started dressing her early so she would get used to it. If you are curious you can go way back in her blog to see her dresses. Unfortunately, she is too big to wear them now. At 24 lbs. they don't make them to fit -- even dog dresses which they only make for smaller dogs. I have bought her a couple of sweaters, but it's just not as much fun. While it lasted for a few years, Dani was one fine fashion model. Now, I have to content myself with overlaying hats, scarves and purrses.

My cats love sleeping under the bed too - and I've said it before, they must be cousins somewhere along the line, because your Precious and my kitties look identical! Your Christmas decor is lovely, and it definitely looking very Christmas-y around here with all the snow we are getting :)
