"Lynn, how come ya nevfur offered me rain water afore?"
"We had such rains fur months on end that one morn I went out
on the catio, and found a flower pot drowning in water.
I stuck my tongue in it and it was cold and clean and fresh!"
"Now Lynn has to keep a clean dish of water outside so I always
think it's rain water. She doesn't want me having flower dirt.
Or worse, chipmunk and squirrel spit. Oh, yes, they git
in the catio!"
Yearling buck we call Notch. His ears were ripped by nasty
multi-flora rose thorns when he was a fawn last year.
Here is his sister. They are both in our yard a lot. Mom is
seen off and on, as she is probably with her new fawn in
the back where it is grown over. These two will be unhappy
when they find they are not going to be getting the milk
supply from now on.

Well...rain water is supposed to be better than
tap water, cleaner, fresher and much purer,
even better for us humans, though l don't know
of anyone actually drinking it...!
I think it's safer, coming straight from the sky,
into a container, but, becomes infected when
reaching the ground...all l know is that's it's wet,
and horrible, when it's raining....! :O).
The deer look lovely to...what a majestic creature,
love the big ones with huge antlers...a very lovely
creature indeed...!
The sun's out in all it's glory, nice and dry, and warm,
l'll venture out shortly, and give the Flymo a little
excercise...the grass out back, needs a trim...!
And, l've a load of Virginia Creeper cuttings to get
rid of...so..I'll be a bit busy..busy..!
Oh! And we have Fathers Day over here on Sunday,
my daughter sent me a hand made, toilet holder....
Thankyou for your reply on that item Lynn and
Precious..HeHe! Still haven't found a home for
it yet...But first...a lemon tea...! :O).

Do you chase the squirrels and the chippers, Precious?
Precious, the rain water must have an extra something in it! Hopefully not critter spit or worse. Somehow, eating and drinking outdoors just seems to improve taste. π
Aw, the deer are wonderful. I'd be over the moon to see them up close. (Unless I was trying to preserve my plants, of course!)
Take care and have a great weekend, hopefully with plenty of sunshine. ☀️❤️
Ewww on chipmunk and squirrel spit in the nice clean water.
I'm glad you enjoyed your fresh rain water sweet Precious and those deer sure are cute!
Precious I am older dirt but I do remember as a teenage collecting rain water to rinse my hair in after a shampoo. So I know it is fresh and we all know kitties like to sip from mother nature's water
Lynn might is a younger than me whippersnapper she might not recall the rain water fad.
Hugs
Cecilia
Hi Precious! (Jo Jo waves wildly). I LOVE rain water! Mom keeps a water dish on the back deck and when it has not been raining, she keeps it topped up all the time! Nutmeg got a new bed for her hut in the living room and her old bed (which was very hard to vacuum) is now under the table on the deck. It is now us cats "Favorite places to snooze" and Kozmo and I have been warring over who gets to sleep on it! We hope you give your Cat Daddy a big kiss on Father's Day!He is liucky to have you! Keep being AWESOME. Your Gal Pal, Jo Jo
Oh my! Jo-Jo!! Kozmo!! Rainwater. Three super things. Not chipper and squirrel spit though. Ewwww.. And Lynn is right. Chock full of spit without your even knowing--- unless there are suspicious bubbles in the rim of the dish.
Rainwater is so good and you've had plenty of it where you live.
Notch and his sister are beautiful and look strong and healthy. They must like your yard, despite the vicious rose thorns.

Precious, it always blew my mind when Outside Sweetie would drink from a pothole rather than the clean water in the bowl that I'd fix up twice a day for all of the 'O' Cats.
When she moved inside to her retirement apartment, she drank from the water bowl, so we don't know what that was all about.
Yes dear Precious, my cats always drink out of the rain puddles when we have them. I do leave a bowl on a stand at the bottom of the deck steps & it fills with rain water. Nice & fresh & I keep the leaves out of it.
I shall be showing The Mr your photos of the deer Lynn - he would SO love to have these in his back yard just wandering in & out. Me not so much as I imagine they would have a feast of my garden.
Have a great weekend. Its a typical damp foggy grey Waikato day here today - sun is trying to peek through but not succeeding. I've just told cats there are no painters coming today, its Saturday. Hopefully they will finish Monday - they have to repair the window they broke yesterday (!!) x0x
