Bagged this one

"Lynn,  let me help with the grocery sacks.  I bet I can make a great bed outa these."

"I can't figure out where my cat food is.  Did you already
put it away without me trying a bite or two?"

"I can't even smell cat food!  What's up with that?"

Precious, if I would have folded them, you could
have kept them creased for me to put back on the shelf.

"Peeple,  I got a story to tell on Lynn.  She may be the new
bag lady of the area.  She's been goin' down the road a bit
and bringin' back sacks of walnuts...... TO FEED THE SQUIRRELS!!!
We got us a runt grey mama squirrel with babies born during the
Feb. blizzard.  They live in the owl nest box.  Mama has eaten
up all the walnuts we had and Lynn must keep her fed.  After all
she is feeding homogenized and pasteurized milk to her babies."

Precious, you are right about me getting walnuts.  Our
couple of bushel were all finished off by the time the
heavy snow melted in March.  We had been
watching the girl take leaves up to the box and staying
there during some of the coldest weather.  And she
is definitely nursing.

"Chuck ran by furom his winter home to his summer home.
I tried askin' him when Spring was comin'.  He hollered
out that I should ask the Easter Bunny.  He's tired of
bein' blamed fur bad weather.  Like the 22 F (-5 C) we are
gonna have agin tonight."

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

for a little sleep...Bless!x
Oh! And find your cat food..! :).

Love the squirrel story...I love squirrels, well, l've
eaten quite a few over the years...Oh! Perhaps l
should'nt have said that, but over here they are
classed as vermin..and attack the Red squirrel's
as they are on the decline, and also protected,
though the grey squirrel's don't know that..! :(

Well...best get on, will pop over to Julie's Blog, l
see she's done a post, she what the furry three
have been up to...HeHe! Bless them...! :0) xxx

You have made yourself a good bed with those bags, Precious. It is kind of Lynn to feed the nursing squirrel.

Look at you using the grocery bags appropriately, Precious! That is very nice of Lynn to take care of Mrs Squirrel and her babies.

Precious, what?? You didn't get to taste test your food for quality control purposes?! At least you got the comfy bags!

You have a good human in Lynn, to make sure momma squirrel is well-fed. ❤️

Stay warm and cosy if it's still cold today. We went from plus single digits yesterday to minus double digits with the windchill this morning. πŸ™„

Yeah, what the heck is with the cold temps again? So bothersome.

That's a cool bag pile sweet Precious and it's nice your Mom likes playing with the squirrels LOL!

Precious, your mama is so kind to feed the squirrel who has babies to look after. It's hard for wild animals to find food when it's so cold and the ground may be frozen.

Lynn I commend your efforts to bring walnuts home to the squirrels....MOL MOL I might need to do that to keep them from trying to destroy my birdfeeders

Oh how kind of you to iron those bags for Lynn sweet Precious, I imagine you do a very good job of flattening them for her.
And a squirrel - I would be in heaven to see a squirrel here, we don't have them. Gosh Lynn I could give you lots of walnuts, they are falling off the tree & I can hear a possum at nights, eating them ... hopefully the rats don't come. I gather them up to try & prevent this but see a few broken shells. I hope your temps have improved a bit by now & you can see signs of spring at long last. Happy Weekend to you both xx

Bags like these make a great napping spot.

I’m very thankful your mama cares about the squirrel mama, especially if you are still having such cold weather.

My Precious, you are looking mighty sassy posing on the bags! Your mom is a kind lady to looks after the critters. My mom feeds cornbread to the raccoons. I’m still loving the Easter egg you sent me❣️ Rocky

Looks like the Squirrel is getting more treats than you, Precious. Mind you she is a mother, and I bet she cant get much else to eat with all this funny weather we are having.
Here's hoping you all stay safe, well, and well fed, even if the bags were empty of cat food – I'm sure there will be plenty stored away in your pantry ;)

Bags are great fun, Precious - but Mummy says it's safer for kitties if the handles are removed.

It is truly kind of you to look after that mama squirrel and her babies after such a rough winter blizzard. Those cats certainly have a way of making a playground out of just about anything you bring home from the store. I hope the weather warms up soon so everyone can enjoy the spring sunshine without those freezing temperatures.

We used to have TONS of walnuts...and the silly tree rats were storing them in our old damaged shed...there were more walnuts in there than on the ground! yuck! Even now we are still finding them all around the yard. You can have them all if you want to come by and get them...
You could use acorns too...and dry kibble. Squirrels will eat just about anything! Look on a squirrel rescue site, they might have info on what you could put out for Mrs. Mama Squirrel.
