"Lynn, what's up with this!"
"You find some of the silliest things to show on my post!"
"These cows don't look all that huggable like me.
And I don't think they are gonna give milk 'cept to
those calves."
"And here you are showing off yer cat stab wounds.
What's with the hole in the ground?"
This is where one of the snapping turtles laid her eggs back in
late May or early June, Precious.
"Lynn, did those eggs hatch? I see all the shells.
Did you eat eggs without me!"
No, sadly for momma turtle and her hard work one time
a year, a hungry racoon found the nest and had one
heck of great egg breakfast.
"And how do you think yer gonna git honey outta those bees?
I don't think Winnie the Pooh is gonna show you the honey
hive tree. Just 'cause you feed 'em sugar water?"
"Egg breakfast! Now yer talkin'. Let's eat."

Precious, your human always finds wonderful things to show us, you most especially, of course. I do like cows, though! Well, I like almost any critter better than I do most humans. 😉 I'm sorry for the loss of the turtle eggs, though. I know only a small percentage ever hatch and make it to adulthood. 🫤
BTW, your rose of sharon bush is looking great! The blossoms are not lasting long here, too hot and dry, in spite of the early morning rainfall we had earlier in the week. We need an entire week's worth of rain to combat the drought!
Precious, Lynn...I feel badly for the Turtle Momma. Raccoons, of course, don't seem to understand what they do to other species. Mom hasn't seen a rose of Sharon in a lotta years! That one os beautiful. The cows and the calves is a very very sweet picture. I have never happened on cows nursing before in either pictures or in person.
We enjoyed the look around sweet Precious! That poor Mama Turtle, very sad.
Shame about the turtle eggs, but even raccoons have to eat.
Ah! Here we are...At last, l've just got back from the
big hospital, had my pacer unit and battery replaced,
took just forty~five minutes, had the pacemaker for ten
years, usually change the battery after eight, but it's been
o.k. no problems, so kept it for another two....Doctors
and nurses were great...lovely...Job done...! :O)
Nice to see Mum is fond of her right foot, HeHe! does
she have a left one...?
My trainers are pink of course...can't be doing with any
other colour...hence the flowers at the bottom, are just
right...Hope you enjoyed yer breakfast Precious...! :O).

Precious, we humans are trying to help out all of the wildlife that we can, in the capacity that we have.
Willie, gotta guess you are still breathing since you wrote a comment! Good to know the pace maker is a dandy.
Lulu: "Awww, that poor turtle mom! We are sorry the raccoons found her eggs."
Java Bean: "Ayyy, I wonder if it's the same raccoons who invaded our tree. I can see the boy raccoon trying to impress the girl raccoon with a nice omelet."
OH MY CATS Precious, after reading you opening line, I was sure you were gonna give us a cooking lesson maybe making French toast. Give Lynn a high five for this fun post and photos.
Looking good there on the counter dear one
Hugs x 2

The poor mama turtle. We love the soft pink of those beautiful Rose of Sharons!
It is sad that the racoon ate the turtle eggs. The rose of Sharon looks lovely.
I love the roses. Happy Friday.
That is a very sweet, but unimpressed looking photo of you dear Precious - the first pic. Such a shame that the eggs got eaten by a racoon. The Rose of Sharon looks wonderful - such a pretty rose & Willie would love the colour. I do hope the kitty cat stab wounds in Mums lower leg are not from You dear Precious?? Look at you sitting there on your little mat on the counter, waiting for food! Madam Pip sits on the table with the very sourest face you can imagine, while she waits for her food - trying to look real skinny as if she is being starved!! Have a lovely weekend, its sunny here again but very cold starts (zero degrees) - YaY for more firewood this week!! x0x
Poor mama turtle :( I love cows!
How sad about the turtle eggs. Looks like it is going to rain as the cows are laying down. XO
Your mama finds very interesting things to post, and I am thankful she linking the whole thing, including you, up with Feline Friday.
That's too bad about the turtles. I know raccoons have to eat, but they could have left a couple...
Thankyou Lynn...Very kind.....
And yes...! I was up and about at five this morning,
had an e~mail from Julie at seven, UK time of course..!
And my arm, was still attached to my body...! HeHe! :).
It'll take a week or so to heal, then l shall be able to
wave with both arms....! :O).

That's sad about the turtle eggs. I liked all your pictures today.
Wowzers! Our Peep says that she never saw a Turtle nest before! Too bad about the racoons! They get into everything. Our local racoon had 5 kits this summer. Our human bro got a picture of them in a tree! They like our compost heap when Mom has been canning... Keep being Awesome! Your #1 Fan Boy, Marvelous Marv
At least Momma turtle likely has no idea all her eggs were laid in vain...coons are such rascals.
Precious I hope your staff enjoyed the model trains show yesterday. Thank you for your sweet comments about Angel Madi
Hugs cecilia
Those beautiful blooms are the highlight, after your good self, Precious that is. What wonderful sights your staff see on their wanderings. It is a shame about the turtles eggs, though. But eggs for your breakfast, that is quite another thing entirely. were they sunny side up?
have a wonderful and wound free week
ERin
That's so sad about the turtle eggs! Poor Mama Turtle!
Precious, Lynn took some furry nice pictures this week. The one with the cows is so - well, pastoral...
We love cows! We hear our neighbor’s cows mooing all the time! The Rose of Sharon is one of Mom’s bushes! Sorry about the turtle eggs. Nature can be cruel. Boops to your adorable nose❣️ Kit, Kat, Rocky & Cali
Hi Precious and Lynn! We are happy to hear that you knew Conrad The Racoon! But Oh no..... racoon had egg breakfast??? Oh no! So sorry mama turtle! Hopefully next year! Paws crossed!! Juno xo
