Tea Time

"Lynn, you can have the blueberry pancakes and the hot tea.

Give me the scrambled eggs, please."

Just us girls one mid morning having a quiet time.

"I like eggs sometimes. And this is one
of those times."

"I stayed up all morning long hoping I'd
get some more food.  And I did!"

I figured Precious was deserving of a bit of
warm egg as she did not go directly to sleep
at 6:30 in the morn, as usual.

She kept me company and we played chase the
jingle ball.  Then she sacked out for just a rest
on my jacket I placed on the floor for her.

My pancakes were tasty and I did get most of the
egg.

Some of our furry friends and their humans will
be celebrating Passover this coming week.
May it be a blessed one.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

  1. My good friend Fudge, who lives a couple of doors
away, often comes round for his milky~milky first
thing...during the summer months l eat outside,
so, up he pops to see what's on my plate...I always
share with him, cutting off a little meat, chicken,
lamb, pheasant or rabbit...he enjoys it, often looking
at me for more, he likes my gravy to, but, then l'm
famous for my gravy.... though sometimes l'll have
one of my own made curries...he has a sniff, gives
    me a dirty look...and runs off...Bless him...! :).

HeHe! You ought to ask Mum to do you a hard
boiled egg Precious...you'd have fun playing and
trying to get into it...Pussy~cats and eggs go well
together..and great fun to watch...! :).

  2. Our cats like egg, too, scrambled with milk and cheese and pinched from the human's plate!

  4. Hey, no fair! I want a new home where I can get some eggs, too. I haven't been here long, but it's not looking good for me getting such treats no thanks to my age & weight, apparently. Happy weekend, Precious & Lynn!

  5. Dearest Lynn,
Guess our kitties love to eat human food!
For re-gaining some wait and getting my strength back I've started to eat omelets made from Bob Evans egg whites as I cannot have the yolks due to high potassium levels that my kidneys cannot handle.
Our skinniest kitty Dido boy LOVES them!
Cute Precious—she has such an adorable face!
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  6. OH my mommy smiled so big seeing what you had to say, Precious. Her Robin, Smokey and Hopping John all enjoyed scrambled eggs and got some every Sunday morning. in their own saucer. They loved Thanksgiving too, with minced turkey breast, a few green peas and a teaspoon of corn. XXX

  8. Glad you enjoyed your eggs, Precious. Scrambled eggs were one of the very few human foods that the boys would eat.

  17. Precious! My momma has the very same pink dish. Very same! Squeee! It came from her aunt, who probably got it from her momma during the Depression. Momma loves pink glass, but sadly her days of collecting are way over. I like eggs too, with a little butter.
