"If it isn't the burds, it's the squirrels. There is no peace here at all fur me."
"Lynn, it's not fair. I have to be on duty all the time to
keep the flowers safe."
"This here squirrel wormed her way under my catio fence."
"And she proceeded to check out evfurry pot and plant."
"But she was good and did not dig. I could not go out to
shoo her away acause Lynn is afraid I'll git into a
fur flying fight, my fur evidently."
Janice asked about just one fawn. We see that early
on every year and think maybe the first time a doe
has offspring it is single instead of twins.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is most appreciated.

HaHa! Bless! As you know Precious, my daughter
has a dog called Nala...And she loves to chase
squirrels, over and over, but, never actually caught
one..! :(.
Which is a pity, as l have'nt had squirrel in years,
they are nice skinned, gutted and washed....thread
a metal skewer up through them, and barbecued...
The thing is with Nala, she can chase them, but of
course, squirrels climb trees...she gets left at the
bottom, wondering how she can get up a tree...! :).
Oh! Well...It takes all sorts....!
The weather is a bit cooler this weekend, though
another heatwave is forecast for next week...
This hot weather is affecting everything...I And l
mean everything, my grass is brown, back and
front...! :(.
And..It's just to hot to work in the garden, l have'nt
even been able to sit out on the patio, even under
the umbrella to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner...Phew!
Well...Best get on...Another cold drink is called for.....
Oh! And, by the way, Mum's pots look lovely, your
doing a great job protecting them..Well done you..! :O).

Precious, good heavens! How rude of that squirrel to enter your catio uninvited! Did it bury any peanuts in those pots? BTW, Lynn's flowers are looking great, so lovely! Alas, I gave up on mine already. π
Stay cool if you can, it's another very hot and muggy few days, at least here. π₯΅
Take care and have a great day and weekend! π
That is one PIA squirrel with a lot of nerve, Precious, and Lynn's flowers are looking so very pretty!
That's a cheeky squirrel. I'm glad you weren't able to get out and tell it what for, Precious. Squirrels are no match for cats.
Lynn, thank you for the information about the deer. ππ¦
You really have to watch those crazy squirrels sweet Precious!!!
The squirrels did in all our avocados.
Precious your flower garden is gawgeous, well done on guard duty
Lynn what an excellent set up. And the butterflies can can enjoy in peace. Pesky yet smart squirrel was very respectful
Hugs cecilia
It looks like you do a great job guarding the flowers; they're gorgeous. Glad the squirrel didn't behave too badly on your catio.

Glare at those squirrels and birds, Precious!
That'll scare 'em away.
dam vishus sqwerlz!!
The wildlife love Precious's house, don't they? Cats are similar to the deer: a female giving birth the first time usually has fewer kittens than a veteran mum - whom we try to catch before they become veterans. Unfortunately, even 'fewer' usually means at least three.
Oh my goodness me Lynn & Precious ... we don't have squirrels in this country so they kind of fascinate me. It is a very brave squirrel indeed - coming in close like that. I am glad it didn't eat Mums beautiful flowers - they are looking so very pretty Lynn. And we don't know for sure if it would be Your fur or the squirrels that would go flying dear Precious - we shall give you the benefit of the doubt.
Have a great weekend - it is milder here today, rain is coming & I have another load of firewood to get unloaded under cover before it arrives. x0x
Before the rain arrives that is - not the firewood π
Good job protecting all the beautiful plants. That was a nervy squirrel. XO
Squirrels are the cutest!!!
Those pesky tree rats can get into almost anything.
I think they are scheming together.
Unas flores muy bonitas. Las ardillas y su visita inesperada.
