"I was takin' my bath, and I decided to let Lynn muddle along with some of her own yakking today."
"She managed to bike ride a few days after last weeks
frosty morns. It turned July hotz fur a couple days.
She said she was glad she did not miss the snappers
coming out to lay eggs and walk in the sun."
"Lynn says these are 3 different turtles furom the 3 rides she
took. Look the same to me! Big and not furiendly!"
"Lynn says this is a raccoon fishin' fur crawdads or fizhes.
It looks suspicious to me, but hey, I was home bathin'."
front door. I leave you to decide fur yerself what's real
and what's fake. I'm gonna go to sleep with clean fur."

Goodness me Precious...How on earth did you get
up there....?
At least you look very busy bathing...keeping yourself
nice and clean, as pussy~cats do...!
And the snappers do look dangerous...it's a good job
there not as BIG as the ones in South America...And
the natives do catch them in big wire traps, and eat
them,....
"What would you like eat sir"?
"A turtle sandwich please..and make it snappy"! :).
Still despite the bathing, the turtles, you've finished
off the day in comfort and asleep Precious....Oh!
and a tummy tickle...!x
I'll finish off quietly, so as not to wake you..! :O).
Oh look at you there having nap time on Mums legs dear Precious. And having your wash up there in your wardrobe. You are so sweet.
I am pleased to read Mum has been able to get out on her bike in some nicer weather but I am not sure about the "strangers" she encounters on her bike rides. Quite fascinating to me as we only see turtles here in enclosures & certainly Not raccoons. I think that is a stunning Iris that is growing out your front door Precious - if I lived closer I would be asking Mum for a cutting of that - just gorgeous. Have a lovely weekend x0x
Precious, your still very agile, to be able to get up there for your bathing!
Lynn has had awesome outings! I did spy some turtles on Tuesday, when I was out of town for the day, but they were sunning themselves, not laying eggs.
The iris is gorgeous. Ours are coming out now too, along with the cherry and apple blossoms. The heat we had really kick-started everything!
Enjoy your cuddle time together and have a great weekend and week ahead!
We are not fans of snapping turtles. When mom was married and they had swans, too many were killed by those evil turtles. The Iris is the most gorgeous color and so very beautiful, Precious!
You sure got way up there in the closet sweet Precious. I'm glad that Lynn has been having some good out n' abouts!
Precious I love your grooming station...
OMCs I don't recall the last time I saw a turtle.
The coral flower iris(I think) is gorgeous
Hugs Cecilia
Oona: "Elevated bathing in an easily defended position! Oona approves!"
Java Bean: "Ayyy, your mom sure sees a lot of interesting things on her walks! We have to go all the way to the park to see stuff like that and even then it's usually just ducks!"
Gotta keep up one's standards, Precious.
Think I'll stay far, far away from any snapping turtles.
And yes, those were July temps out of the blue!
precious, your furz look fab!

That first turtle looks huge!
That is a pretty big snapper. Brody wishes he could cuddle with you in the closet Precious. XO
Girlfriend, I am so impressed with you on the top closet shelf! 🙀 You little vixen! 😹 My parents love turtles too! Dad stops in the middle of the road to save them. Good thing we live on country roads. That iris is absolutely gorgeous, like YOU❣️ Rocky
Oh my that’s a big one
There's nothing like a good wash and brush up to make you feel happy.
I'm glad Lynn missed the snappers - they don't look very friendly.
Spring wildlife. I hope all those little turtles have long lives - unlikely, but I can hope. You're right to stay inside and bathe, Precious; you can hear the news from Lynn afterward.
It looks like you stay busy your way, and your mom stays busy hers (and the turtles stay busy their way, too, and good for them as long as it’s over there).
Thankfully no snapping turtles in tnis neck of the woods! No racoons either. Quite lucky that way for sure. Now we couldnt tell what was real or not, but those flowers do look lovely. More spring colour is always lovely and a great prelude to summer, though often heatwaves ruin bloom displays.
Have a lovely week
ERin
Your clean furs look fabulous, Precious. Oh, and dad says that first turtle photo likes like he has a shell made of tin or plastic or someting. Just ignore his thoughts like me and mom do.
What a purrty flower you have right outside your door, Precious!
Howeffur did you get up there to the top floor of the skyscraper (mol)? We all used to do that but nowadays, We mostly stay on the ground floor. You look furry sleek after your bath.
Oh my heavens, Precious. Your Mom has THE most beautiful color of iris I have ever SEEN! Someone before me said stunning, and it is stunning. Now. That was a full bath you took...all clean and shining. Soft and feline fragrant for your leg time!
When mom was a little girl and her Dad took her fishing with home made fishing "rod"she caught a snapping turtle, and seemed like at least one per time she and her dad went there, (a canal) she'd catch that thing! Sure let Dad take him off the line and he managed to do so without getting snapped!!
Ohh snapping turtles. How cool.
Years ago, I happened across a large number of baby smnappers...on the road, so I picked them up one by one and put them on the other side so they could safely get mto the creek area. When our sons were very small there was a HUGE snapper , (about the size around of a diningroom chairseat...), and I asked son #1 what he thought it was and he not too incorrectly said Dinosaur! But we had to stay away form that creature...we wanted to keep our limbs...
Another time there was a smaller one, though still large trying to get under our fence to get to the creek behind our property, and it was not impressed when I got it in a wheelbarrow and took it to where it was headed...she was like a bucking bronco and tried to take the end off of my shovel which was keeping in the wheelbarrow carriage...
You sure saw some amazing things on your bike rides.
Precious, it is wonderful that you are able to enjoy a bath in such heights! What a view you are able to enjoy! But that snuggle with Mom at the end of the bath looks like the best! Stay away from those snappers and raccoons! The beautiful iris makes me happy to see! Blessings to you both!
You really found some excellent places where you can give yourself a wash without getting disturbed😺And what a lot of creatures you have in your environment. That turle looks huge, Little Faye asks if she could take a ride on him😹More Pawkisses for you and Lynn too🐾😽💞
