"I let Lynn do things that are not all about me. Only when I go off fur my morning 6 hour nap, mol. Eating breakfast takes it right outa me and I gotta git some shut-eye."
In the winter I must find things to do. Reading is good to a point.
Then my brain can no longer hold anything.
I crochet when the mood strikes. And this winter I have
been using a book that has 100 small doilies.
Working up a few.

| miniature daffodils |
We had 5 days of early false Spring. My daffodils started
opening. Then a deluge of rain came and by Wed. night
we were back in the winter temps. Below
freezing again.
It's gonna be a humdinger next week.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

The crochet doilies are beautiful! They could be little hanging ornaments for a tree, or somehow else on display. Too beautiful not to show off!
Precious, I don't blame you for napping after eating. Chewing is hard work! ๐
Yes, we are back to winter for a bit, but such is March in this region. ๐คท
Happy Friday, have a terrific day and weekend!
Of course you need plenty of shuteye, Precious, but maybe breakfast wouldn't take it out of you as much if you tried eating from the other side of the bowl instead of stretching over your water bowl.
The doilies are very pretty, and so are the miniature daffodils. I hope next week isn't too bad for you.
Your doilies are so pretty and mom dreams of daffies blooming too. The Hellebore is coming up but it's not quite ready to bloom yet. We had days of wonderfully warm temps and now it's back to winter with a wind chill!
The doilies are so pretty - you are clever.
It was good to see the miniature daffodils, if only briefly. Spring will eventually come to stay . . .
Precious looks so comfortable. I love the way cats just sink into sleep.
Make sure you get all your naps in sweet Precious. Hey, those doilies are very pretty!
My Precious, you’re looking as beautiful as ever in these photos! We should catnap together❣️ Your Mom’s doilies are lovely.Daffodils are my mom’s favorite sign of Spring!
Licks & sniffs, Rocky ❤️
My first comment disappeared! ๐ Can I come catnap with you, Sweet Precious? ❤️Rocky
Oh, we so want winter to be over, but nope, we are under storm watches from now through the weekend. Ugh.
She's dreaming of those daffodils, and other spring things.
oh precious yoo look so sweet napping in dee chair! we haz daffys in dee yard too!
Precious you are a kind boss lady to let Lynn crochet the beautiful doilies. I used to crochet them some but the hook and thread were just to small for my clumsy hands.
I hope the 60 mph wind predicted today in you area does not HAPPEN that is scary
Hugs cecilia
I love your doilies. I can crochet, I think? I crocheted a baby blanket for my grandson but I think I may have made up my own stitch. LOL Never crocheted anything else.
precious eye can tell ewe bee dreemin oh flounder friez, mice creem N cake, perch pizza piez, salmon salad, bloo gilz burgerz and sun knee dayz ‼️๐พ๐ธ๐lynn did a grate job on her doileez ‼️‼️๐ธ
Good morning Lynn & Precious. The doilies are just wonderful Lynn - if you don't want to use them as doilies you could always paint a mixture of watered down PVA on them to stiffen them & hang them as little dreamcatcher type things ... here i go again (sorry). The ideas just come to me.
Anyway dear Precious - yes eating breakfast is quite exhausting & good to follow with a big nap. Madam Pip finds watching paint dry quite exhausting too. Love the funny - so true.
I do hope you get some warmer temps soon - once we see the daffs it often makes you feel spring is not far away. We have had cold days but today I am back in a dress as its humid here. Happy Weekend to both of you. x0x0x
6 hour nap MOL! The doilies are beautiful. It was 73 here on Wednesday, snow tonight!
I want a 6 hour nap. :) The doilies came out great- your mom is so talented. XO
Your doilies are lovely! We had 90's and will have 60's next week.
I understand about reading. Your doilies are very pretty.
We’ll never quite know what they are dreaming of, will we.
Charlee: "Eating breakfast is hard work! And then you have to save your strength up for lunch afterwards!"
Oh, Precious- Your first paragraph is me to a T. Those doilies are quite pretty, and that photo of you in the chair is sooooo me! Crazy winds here today, and dad's preparing to lose power as happens often here. Mom's scary fever broke late last night and dad's been doing his best to wait on her hand and foot. Humdinger, indeed. Stay safe and warm, ladies!
We had way too much of that awful wind too, pulled one of our sheds off of it's moorings and it was airborne to another part of our yard...sheesh!
The Dollie’s are terrific
They are delicate pieces of work, and a great way to add a distraction when books and other things don't offer a challenge or stimulus.
So many folk, everywhere, are suffering the changes in weather. We tend not to notice plant life suffering, but they surely must suffer from early/late blooming and frost damage etc.
I hope you have a much improved week, now the power is back!

Precious mew are looking totally top fluff today, and we hope your nap was long enough ... we tend to wake up and go for seconds, and even thirds!!! MOL We absolutely love the doilies, they are so pretty, your Mom is so clever! Happy Sunday, and we hope your week is furbulous! ๐ป๐พ๐ป๐พ๐ป
You are furry generous to let Lynn do things that aren't all about you, Precious! What purrty doilies She made!
OMCs just read you comment on my blog about your horrid weather. I'm so thankful your power is back on and you 3 are safe.
Hope and pray the others without power regain it soon.
We have SEVERE weather arriving tomorrow. High winds and t storms.
Hugs Cecilia
Love those crochet dollies, very delicate. We've had sun, rain, hail and wind, but my daffs are still standing upright!
I LOVED that advice about saving energy but changing position over the water bowl! Mom and I are still grinning! The doilies are beautiful! If ONLY I could crochet and knit. I hope you use those beauties!!!
You crochet such beautiful pieces! I love your sweet Precious! Hopefully the storm has passed and all is well with you. We had strong winds here last week, and many lost power, thankfully we were okay. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
You were right, the email was in my spam folder. I responded to you. Have a good week.
Hey Grrl! Your Peep is a Crochet lady too? Mom does - sometimes, latley she has been working on jellybean Topiary (Trees) for Easter! Mom goes to a crafts day every Thursday at the Midway Social Centre. They try to do something special for holidays and other occasions. We have been having a nice mild winter and everyone is worried that we don't have enough snow pack storing water for the summer. You may have snow, but we don't have our daffydowndillies blooming yet. Purrs Your Gal Pal, Jo Jo (the Mighty Huntress)
