Precious you are probably right. These things work wonders
and I use them all winter long every time I leave home to
go to the store. If you've not seen them, they are available
in Walmart in the sporting goods section. Most hardware
stores too. So inexpensive. But be warned they do actually
get HOT so you need to keep a layer or 2 of cloth between
it and your skin. And they do last 6 hours or more.

I was just saying yesterday, about a dishwasher,
l don't have one...I don't have a washing machine
either...I live a couple hundred yards from a river,
so why..? would l want with a washing machine...
HaHa! I'm old school...! :O).
I will be honest though...The cold doesn't really
bother me, now the rain...I~HATE~RAIN...! :(.

Those hand warmers sound like a very good ides. My hands are always icy cold, indoors outdoors, summer and winter.
I have got a wheat bag and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds to keep my hands warn indoors.
It might not seem like it now, Precious, but catio time will soon come around again.
It's been pouring down here this morning Willie. And foggy for the last three mornings in a row. But it'll soon be the end of the heat wave because it's going to start snowing on saturday.
I've seen similar hand warmers for many years and still haven't tried them. It's good to know they DO hold heat for such a long time!

Precious, the Spring Equinox might be getting closer, but here in my area, I doubt we'll see green grass until May. Another storm is on the way today. I'm SO sick of winter!!!! 🙄 ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

Heated hand warmers are an excellent idea, but Precious has the right idea - stay indoors until the weather warms up.
MOL Mom just found two packs of those in her bathroom drawer this morning!
Oh golly yes. I use to give those to people who had freezing come hands! I just kept a small supply and gave 'em out when needed.

There's a coincidence: I was just looking on-line to see if my local Canadian Tire store had those items. I found a kind that warms for about an hour - that's more than I usually need - and then can be ready for use again by boiling them in water.
Ooh, I like what John commented; those are the kind that I need.

My daughters friend just bought 2 electronic hand warmers. You just plug them in to recharge them. They work really good. I have used several different kinds but now just wear gloves when it gets cold.
I have not seen those hot hands over here Lynn ... which doesn't mean to say they are not here - just I've not been looking. We have wheatbags here (or heat sacks as some folk call them). They are filled with wheat & then you warm them in the microwave & they stay warm. My friend used to make small hand sized ones & heat them for her son before he went onto the freezing field to play hockey - he had pockets in his shorts & kept them in there. I am wondering if Precious wants a heat pad tucked under her blanket - Pip used to have one when she was a kitten. The things her Mother used to do 😉 ... she's still just as pathetic.
