"You didn't jump in and go swimming did you Lynn?"
"You know water is only good fur drinkin'. I totally disapprove
of gittin' my body wet."
Said by a cat who sat out in the dark and got drizzled on
while eating moths just recently.
No worries about me swimming here Precious. The water is
clean and clear but it is the sand quarry pit.
I bike by here all the time, but I had to climb up the dike
to peer over on a day they were closed for work.
have been digging here. There is a corn field behind the
huge dredge that will be next to go. It might last them
another 10 years or less.
"This how I like my water. Cold and in a cup meant
fur me."
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

Waking up to a nice sunny day to~day, after
a week of heavy showers...! :(.
And the forecast for tomorrow is sunshine,
and warm again..and they are predicting
another heatwave in September...?
Still...l don't mind, September is my most
favorite month, everything happens in
September, and most important of all.....
My Burfday....that's on St Mathews Day....?
You know, l've always said, the more they
dig out of the earth, the smaller it must be
getting...over thousands of years, earth, coal,
minerals, etc,,etc..have been dug up...they
never fill the holes up with anything, except
fresh air...
Well, that's my theory anyway...! :O).
And, that's a lovely photo of you drinking out of
your cup....meant fur you...and, what's that little
'pink' thing popping out of your mouth...
HeHe! Bless!x Have a great weekend...! :O).

The quarry water looks so clear and cold.
I like Precious's glass, though - that's very special with a pretty bike on it.
I wonder if kids will dare to swim there. Seems like a spot some would gravitate to.
Precious, I like my water cold and in my special glass too, though my glass isn't as nice as yours!
The Rose of Sharon bush is huge and so lovely! What a joy to spot the hummingbirds too.
Have a terrific weekend and week ahead!
The quarry pit water looks really clean but I think you have the right idea sweet Precious!
The sand quarry pit's lake is beautiful. I like your glass, Precious. It's so pretty and you know for sure that the water is clean. Your Rose of Sharon is huge and such a pretty color!
Precious...you definitely need to stay out of that water!!!
Precious you are beautiful and such a funny girl. OMCs nope water RnotU. Precious inquiring minds (mine) want to know doea a moth taste like salmon or beef?
Lynn thank you for the photos
Hugs Cecilia
Oona: "Oona has never tried swimming, but she very much enjoys playing in water from the faucet, as well as water in the water bowls on the floor. It is good practice for ninja swipes!"
Precious, do you think you could have a chat with Da Boyz to convince them that drinking water from a bowl or glass is good for them? Thanks!

That is a beautiful photo you have taken of the sand pit quarry Lynn - that water looks so serene & inviting. We have a sand pit quarry not too far from us but as far as I know, no water. I love seeing sweet Precious drinking from her glass of water - trying to be like the "Hoomans". I think Madam Pip needs running water as she tries to make it move with one paw, before drinking. I think you can buy running water fountain things for cats - I should google it. Have a lovely weekend, its spring here & you can feel the growth & the bird song is wonderful. Still cold though!! x0x0x
Mudpie has her own mug as one of her watering holes! And last night she stayed in the door while it was pouring. She came in drenched and it didn't bother her at all!
Very cool that you have your own glass. Please don't eat moths as they can be poisonous. XO
The water in the sand pit does look very inviting, but probably not as much when they are working there.
Your drinking cup looks lovely. Were the moths tasty?
The rose of Sharon looks beautiful.
What a peaceful country pond it looks...
