Christmas in July

"We thought it might be fun to say Merry Christmas since today is July 25."

"I thought I'd stop fur an itch furst."

"It's nevfur too soon to dream of Santa and his gift giving.
See our pillow?"

"We hope you are planning yer Santa List."

"This is one of Santa's deer eatin' mulberries in our yard.  She
already munched on Lynn's plants earlier on."

Angel Seney got a new lily addition this year.  1/2 the buds were eaten off by slugs.

"Lynn said fur me not to hurry summer away."

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

What is the story of Christmas in July...???
According to legend, Christmas in July was
first celebrated at a girls' summer camp in 1933,
when Keystone Camp in Brevard, North Carolina
decided to dedicate two days (July 24 and 25) to
the holiday—complete with cotton fake snow, a
decked-out tree, a gift exchange, and, of course,
Santa.....! :0).

As the year is flashing by at the speed of light, this post seems most appropriate, Precious. Happy Christmas! New Year next week??

Merry Christmas in July! We have two trees that stay up all year. Mom loves the dreamy Christmas lights. Your Lilies are just gorgeous!

Precious, I have to agree with Lynn, please don't rush Christmas! The year is already speeding by and the thought of 5 or 6 months of cold, miserable winter weather fills me with dread.

The lilies are beautiful, however! I'll focus on those, and the deer too! 😊

Precious your post gave me a much needed mental chill. What a fun post x 100. You and Lynn are the dream team. Santa's deer is quite lovely but goodness me please, please don't eat the mulberries. Is that a star gazer Lily? it is beautiful
We have a horrid 6 day temps at 99 or higher and feels like 100-110,

Precious is too cute. I am glad Santa's reindeer are bulking up for that famous ride in a few months.

Well how timely to see your post dear Precious & Lynn ... as I have been thinking "Christmas in July" too. I have been doing some christmas sewing this month, which doesn't feel as crazy as I thought it might!!!
The Deer looks a young one ? I am not sure but I will show the photo to The Mr. I am sorry to read they eat all Lynns plants as I can imagine how annoying that would be. Angel Seney's lily is absolutely stunning - such a vivid shade of pink - Willie would love it!!
Happy Weekend to you both. There's a monthly craft fair on in town that I was planning to visit but its so cold I can barely leave the fire. x0x

Sorry, Precious...we want the cold weather to stay away for a very, very long time.

I'm not so much ready for cold as ready for the heat to break.

Your nature photos are lovely.

I was thinking just the same thing when I saw the day's date earlier... Precious, you look so sweet a-napping on that pillow.
