"Lynn took off early one morn this Fall fur to see museums. They were not close to home at all but she said worth the 180 round mile trip. She did git home in time fur my late late brunch and then supper."
I went to Alliance, Ohio and saw the
Cat Fanciers Museum. Cheap fee of $3.
So many statues and dressed cat dolls.
I thank Miss Vicky at Eastside Cats for the heads up
on this place.
"Willie, here's pink fur you."
Luck Cats that are coin banks and tea pots too.
And who did not ever eat Jell-O!
"Not us kitties, Lynn."
Even the restroom was decorated.
And this was teeny tiny.
"Lynn and I hope we have not bored anyone into a nap.
She had such fun looking at all the kitty statues. And there
is a library with lots of cat books she has read!"
And some important cat show history and photos of
blue ribbon winners from years ago.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

What a wonderful place to visit with all those wonderful displays. I collect ceramic cats and loved those at the end.
No, you definitely didn't bore me, quite the opposite.
What a fun day! But surely you didn't bike 180 miles in one day?! Anyway, my favourite is also the teeny tiny house, so adorable!
What a lovely place to visit, a cat lover's delight. Were you tempted to bring some things home, or was there not a gift shop attached?
Hey Lynn and Precious! Certainly worth the 180 miles. I've got to tell my cousin Pat about this post. She is a cat lover and has two, Beau and Teddy. Thank you Lynn for stopping by my silly blog and leaving such a nice comment. Love, Henny
OH! *jumping up and down*
So glad you visited...it's was fun, wasn't it?
Did you take a gander at the cat house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright?
It looks like a space ship.
I would love to see that, so many fun kitty things! I hope you both have a fabulous weekend!
Precious first of all how are you feeling dear one? I hope the dreaded dental work is a faint memory.
Please thank Lynn (and Eastside cats for the heads up) for taking us with her as you toured the Cat Fancier's Museum. I think I could spend all day (and night there) so much. MOL MOL
Happy Lynn made it home before din din. Kitties have routines that they like to keep
Hugs to you both
Cecilia
Dearest Lynn,
That no doubt was a fun visit and with cute cat things!
Pieter and I were at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto where we learned about the Egyptian tradition of cat mummies. Their backs were broken and they stayed with their owners. The Bastet was the local goddess... an Egyptian cat deity.
That sure was an eye opener to us!
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

Lynn and Precious...I would have loved visiting that Cat Museum and very probably all of the museums Lynn got to see.
How wonderful that museum is Lynn - I think a museum dedicated entirely to cats is a wonderful thing. How special - love all the displays, yes Pink for Willie of course. I am glad Mum got home in time to feed you dear Precious - a girl cannot afford to get too thin you know ๐
Wishing you both a wonderful weekend - we have sun today after good rain & I can hear the garden growing (& the weeds!!) xx
OMC I would LOVE to visit that museum!!! I would never want to leave!
Great photos. That would be a place I would love to visit. XO
What a nice visit that must have been. I think I'd enjoy one of those cat teapots; it'd make tea-time an occasion.
What a wowser of a place!
Oh, good golly Miss... Precious! so much cat "stuff" in one place- pleasure overload!!
What a lovely Mewseum!
Mummy went to a Cat Mewseum in Montenegro last year, though She neffur got to write it up propurrly because of the War and effurrything. This year, She went to London and visited LOTS of mewseums, but none of them was a Cat Mewseum, alas.
Now that has to be a MUST SEE museum! Love the images of Jell-O as well as the Lucky Cats.

Java Bean: "Ayyy, 180 miles?! That's like halfway around the world!"
Charlee: "But totally worth it to get to the Cat Museum."
What funny costumes.
I plan to go to the Folk Art Museum...they have such beautiful traditional Christmas trees in the Christmas month.
I'll keep an eye out to see if I can find a cat for you...
Oh! My! CAT! Look at all those cool antique Cats! We have a couple (that have not been broken in moves) Mom's Gramma collected cats so this was a real trip down memory lane! Thanks so much for making our Mom LAUGH OUT LOUD! You guys Rock Precious! Keep being awesome! Your #1 Gal Pal Jo Jo (and Marvelous Marv, Kozmo, Nutmeg and Mom Barb)
