Here's a short short video of some of the
hundreds of wild honey bees I am so happy to
see this year. This is one flower head of dozens
I have on 9 sedum plants. Every flower head has
had many many bees.
Above is a Great Spangled Fritillary butterfly.
No Monarchs new or old flying by. Just the 11
that hatched and flew off into the rains of the South.
And the other good news is our Eastern Blue Birds
fledged 4 nest boxes of babies this year. Could be
any where from 16 to 20 babies.

Ah! Bless! At least the apples are'nt going to
waste...we humans don't eat that many of
them...so, let the wildlife enjoy them...! :).
And..It's lovely seeing the bees and the
flutterfies on the flower heads...enjoying the
nectar and the sunshine, lovely to watch to..!
And, the Blue Birds doing so well to...16 to 20
babies, that is good news to...

It's a joy to see so many bees. Shame about the apples, though. At least they're not going completely to waste.

Yep, that is the disadvantage of sharing your yard with the other critters that live here. But nevertheless, it is worth doing it for them.
Your sedums are stunning and attract honey bees and butterflies.
The teens that help me water the patio pot plants and fill the two bird baths just got done when we all stood in the kitchen and through the bay window we saw one freshly filled bird bath with 6 blue birds and the other with 4! What a joy and how I wish I could have captured that!!!
It must have been a good year for them to multiply.

Precious I know every critter has to eat but dag blasted it some critters(SQUIRRELS) are a gluten, don't share and just plain rude. They evidently were absence from Kindergarten on the day 'sharing' WAS TAUGHT.
I did so love seeing the honey bees and thank Lynn for id'ing the butterfly.

Gosh it is always fascinating to me, to see the different animals & critters you have there Lynn & Precious. We don't have squirrels or hogs or whistle pigs here. But we do have the bees & they are just wonderful on your Sedum there - I do hope my Sedum gets lots of bees this summer as I love them. Wishing you both a wonderful weekend. That is a shame about the apples. We have 2 trees, but get about 10 apples. Glad there are still honey bees around. I haven't seen any in a few years. Brody sends his love to Precious. XO

It looks like wildlife is having a grand time in your part of the world. That's wonderful to see. It's too bad you missed the apples - apples right off the tree are so tasty, aren't they? - but at least they didn't go to waste; even the one-bite apples will serve their purpose.
