My water glass is back

"Lynn,  I am tired of the glass glass-bicycle glass fur my water. I want my old tried and true plastic glass."

You know I love my water any time of the day.

And I like it cold out of the 'fridge-a-day-tor.

And you are not quick enough to git my tongue in
the glass, mol.

No Precious you are too quick for the camera.
But I enjoyed seeing the blurry color lights behind
you and decided it was purrfect picture for me.

We are enjoying having the lights day and night as
it is always dark and cloudy around here even
on dry days.

We have special thank you for Mrs. H. and ERin the
Literary Cat.  They sent me this wonderful book that will
be so fun to read this winter.

"Of course, Lynn will read this to me in the evenings
when I have leg time fur hours on end.  Thank you."

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

  1. Dearest Lynn and Precious,
Oh, our kitties can have the cutest habits for drinking and/or eating.
They sure know what they want!
    Cute book.

  3. Precious, you're so clever to drink from that glass without knocking it over. You look lovely next to the angels.

  4. Precious, you are very particular about your water! Angel Chumley used to lick my water glasses, especially the plastic ones, though he wouldn't drink from any.

The book looks like a fun read, I hope you both enjoy it!

  11. Goodness me dear Precious - that is a thin water glass to get your little face into. You are so funny. I will not show Pippi this as she will want one too!
That looks a great book ... I saw a book in our second hand bookstore last week titled "how to train your human" - apparently written by a cat!!!!! I did not buy it !!
We have overcast days here but very humid & Yes - these duller days make the tree lights really shine! Wishing you both a wonderful weekend x0x0

  12. Mudpie loves her water out of a mug :) Last year we left our tree up with white lights all winter, until late March!

  14. Ha! I was trying to get a picture of Aurora's tongue while she was grooming Imogen, but she too was too quick for the camera. Christmas tree lights and a book to read: perfect for the long, dark months of winter.

  15. It's good to see you lapping up that water, Precious, whatever its container. It's very impawtant to stay well hydrated. And congrats on your new book. It could be very interesting, though scary. Hopefully it has a happy ending.

  16. Hee! Hee! We don't get a chance to drink out of Mom's water glass...SOME CAT (named Nellie the Cat From Hell) used to spill it, so we are not allowed. We are sure glad that your Lynn got pictures of you, and WOWZERS! That sounds like a terrific book that you got from Erin and Mrs H! We too love to sit with our Peep when she is reading. Laptime is the bestest! Have a Marvelously Happy Weekend! Keep being awesome! Purrs Marvelous Marv.

  17. Cold water is best, and your own glass is best, always.

Thank you for joining Feline Friday!

  18. That sounds like a good book, Precious. We wish Mummy would read aloud to Us - but since reading Inkheart (by Cornelia Funke), She's afraid that if She reads aloud, one of Us might be magically transported to wherever it is She's reading about, and not be able to get back!

  19. Say Precious, I'd have quite a hard time trying to lap water out of a glass like that. I'll stick to my little blue bowl, thanks. Love the fuzzy glowing lights behind you, dear girl.

Three for Tea Please

"Lynn,  if you and Dolly git tea and crumpets, do I get tuna juice and salmon patties?" Precious and I had one of those quiet week...
