Face Off

"Lynn, he's here, he's here!  Let me at 'im."

Chippie survived the winter quite well.  3 years in
a row. And you wonder how I know it is the same one.
His normally straight stripes on his back are not straight.
On one side only, the left, 2 of the stripes intersect into
an X design.  And do I know it is a boy?  Absolutely.
You know how bovine bulls are obviously boys,
well, the same principal applies to 6 inch long
male chipmunks.  If you get my drift.

"If he dares to enter onto my patio, breach the
barricade of my fence, I'll get him fur sure."

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

  1. HeHe! Bless! He probably looks at you Precious....
And thinks...'That's a bit big to be my Mum'....! :).
    And l don't think you'll catch him anyway...Chippies
are quite fast when they get going...! :).

And what's the idea of that big red 'Q' on the fence...
Looks a bit out of place...
I think you should be friends with little Chippie, at
least you'll have someone to talk to when Mum's
busy...Nice to have someone visit you....! :O).

  3. Chippie is pretty cute! You're hard at work watching him, Precious. Maybe he'll come close enough that you can "introduce" yourself. 😁

  9. If Chippie is smart enough to survive in the wild so long, he's smart enough to stay out of Precious's catio, I think...

  12. #1 says she is very glad you are on two different sides of the fence. Chipmunks are so cute but we don't have them in Europe.

  13. Thats wonderful that he survived Lynn. Gosh he is much smaller than I imagined. I love the photo of Precious watching him ... thinking if he just pokes his head under that frame then he's all mine. xx

  16. Chippie is impudent, disrespectful, insolent, and impertinent! We have one of his relatives (and a squirrel) that taunts us too! They are FAST! Faster than the mice, moles and voles! Our Mom says we don't have a chance, but Kozmo and I think we can catch them! When we do, you can be sure we will post about it! Precious! You look marvelous darling! Nice to see you outside too! Keep being awesome! Marvelous Marv
