Now it's the tree trimmers

"I'm telling you Lynn, I've had it up to my whiskers with being disturbed.  The one morning I decide to sleep upstairs after breakfast

and window time instead of under the bed and this is what happens."

"I know that electricity keeps your fridge humming, and the furr-nace

purring, and we spend hours of leg time with the boob tube on."

I know Precious. I just can't help it or stop it.
The electric company sends out tree trimming
trucks every 3 or 4 years to keep the trees from
over hanging the electric lines.  This does help
us to not have too many power failures which
every one of us in this house appreciates, PRECIOUS.

"Git 'em out of the neighborhood quick!"

One winter, one cat.  5 cats to go.  I wonder
if and when they will come to life.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

  1. I'm sorry you had that disruption, Precious, but it's good that the utility company is proactive. I want to know how you got to the top of the closet! That's a great, cosy spot, by the looks of it!

  3. Oh goodness, those tree triming humans don't understand the word quiet, they are just way too noisy!

  4. Those people come here making lots of noise too! We have high voltage pylons and lower voltage electricity going over our fields, so they come and check every few years. Better safe than sorry though, and you have some good safe places to hide away.

  5. Precious, I hear you meowing. Pretty soon, the lawn mower will be here. Just one but he has one of those huge mowers, and the blower and weed wicker are pro so they are powerful and LOUD! I hate it and I go into the bedroom to try to escape. Never works.

  6. Sorry Precious, but when it is really cold you will be happy to have power to keep the house warm. Your mom is very talented, that cross stitch is coming out great. XO

  7. Yes dear Precious ... my two hate tradesmen too ... or "tradies" as we call them. In fact I find myself putting off getting some things done so as not to have too many tradies here. But the trees do need to be trimmed. They charge us for this over here - its not free. Its only free if you have the tree removed & hence, the problem is removed. We have to pay every couple of years to have our under the line trees pruned. And its expensive. Lovely cross stitch there Lynn xx

  8. They do that here, too. Just be glad it's over for the time being, there's always something to be grateful for and in this case, them being gone a while is probably it.

    Thanks for joining Feline Friday!

  9. It's always good to have that one hidey spot for when the peoples come and bother us. Well, just Tommy runs and hides. I run to them to check them out first. Hee hee. ~Teaghan

  11. I don't know that Precious is one of those who appreciates the certainty of electricity, not if it comes with such disruptions...

  12. Precious, these things are sent to try us. Purrhaps you have a window you can sit at on the other side of the house, where the tree-trimmers won't disturb you? If not, you'd best teleport over to Us and We can take you on a picnic to the Enchanted Forest, now that we're having such lovely spring-like weather.
