By the time she finally started to eat this it had been
nearly 4 full days of no food. Even then I had to
smear it on her nose to get her to lick.
I'm pleased Precious has grown back her inner ear furs
and her scalp at the inside base of her ears. I had gotten
so used to these being bare spots I was amazed.
"Lynn, no one wants to look down my ear!"
We had a full rainbow about 7:30 AM on
New Years Eve. Then a day of fairly constant
rain. Cold weather is now prevailing.

Precious, I am glad you are enjoying the tasty treats and you are eating again. That is a lovely rainbow to start the year. Today we woke to a very hard from which makes everything look white. I think it will be a book in front of the log burner today!

I woke up this morning, looked out the window, and there
was a severe frost outside...and it was minus four..Brrrrrr!
No need to go out to~day...lots to do around the castle,
and l've just taken the duck carcass, out the deep freeze,
we had for Christmas, to make some soup later...!

I am so pleased that Precious is eating properly again and that you've found an acceptable (to her) way of administering her medicine. Cats can be notoriously difficult to nurse.

I am late today. I took Bryan to the doctor. He has a nasty sinus infection. We are waiting for the pharmacy to call to tell us they are ready.

Happy New Year to you both Lynn & Precious. We can get those temptations treats here in New Zealand too - I rue the day I even introduced my three to them as they are EXPENSIVE here!! Boy, there's no worry like a cat not eating. The lengths to which we humans will go to remedy that... Thank goodness Precious is eating again.
