"Lynn, do humans stop their bikes and paint pictures?
After all, you don't want me doing art work. Sprinkle my furs in geometric designs, leave lovely claw
marks on the recliner to enhance the fabric, or the purrfectly shaped hairball splats that add to the carpet."
No, Precious, these first 3 pictures are manufactured somewhere
and placed at one of my rest stops.
Just a bit different than cat art.
I just thought they were enjoyable to see.
They just represent the fun of biking for us humans.
And I often see puppies large and small, old and young
in handle bar baskets and being pulled in baby tag-a-long
carts.
Now this beautifully painted metal pole barn, meant for the
braying donkey in the paddock, is incredibly lifelike.
I do not know who the human was, but they are a true
artist. If only the barn were closer to the path, I would
have gotten a close photo.
This barn is 100 miles from home, on a path I have only
biked a few times ever.
"Well, I guess it is Okay stuff. I just hope you
take the time to put a picture of me in this post.
I get tired of playing second fiddle.
And please stop by to wish Marv Happy Birthday
on Tuesday July 26.
Lynn's going to let me go to visit that day."

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

The art is great! It certainly adds a lot of interest to your travels. But if that barn is 100 miles from your home, does that mean you biked 200 miles in one go?!? :-O
Oh no. I drove 100 miles and then road 30 miles on the path. Makes for a long day. And with the price of gas, I'll not go beyond the path I have available here for the rest of the summer.
Yes, that art is super cool and fun to see along your jaunt!
We LOVE art! Our house has a mural on the garage door. And THANK YOU for the shout out! I can't wait to see you at my pawty! I am so furry excited about turning 6! Mom says I have to now start acting like a grown cat...I think I need to act how I feel. And that cartoon...purrfect, it could be Kozmo and Jo Jo in bed with Mom! We LOVE Lynn's bike ride photos, and we LOVE the shot of you this week. Precious and Mom, keep on being awesome and have a fabulishious week! Purrs Marv

Purrs, Julie
We love painted barns - from the old Mail Pouch ads to the Barn Quilts - all are great !
Love the art, but you're the best! Love the toon too :)
Art is inspiring! Precious is the best piece of art in your post today. I want to pet and smooch on her. ;-) Have a wonderful weekend ~ FlowerLady
That is fine art to see on a bicycle journey; it's rather refreshing. But what a cat leaves in the way of art is more familiar - if more work, too.
How is your lip these days?
No problem with the lip and thankfully have not run into another bee.
How lovely to decorate the barn like that!
Precious! Grrl Furrend! It was so wonderful you came to be part of my celebration! It would NOT be the same without you. Thanks for coming to my pawty and for taking a photo in the photo booth! You and your Peeps are AWESOME! Purrs Marv
That's a very sweet photo of Precious. Lynn. Funny cartoon! xo
