outside in the dark

"Lynn says she can't really show you pictures of me outside anymore. Cause it is o'dark thirty and the sun is not up fur another hour or more."

"Can ya see me now?
I'm the one with glow in the dark eyes.
I hope Lynn has color film soes you kin see
my grey onesie on my thick pink rug."

(I was out filling bird baths and meal worms for
the blue birds and got this with my headlamp on.)

"But I would look a lot like this only dark on dark.
I am watchin' fur moths and bats.  I even skip my
breakfast.
Lynn threatens to water my furs.  She
says she can grow a flower garden on me 'cause I'm
covered in marigold and zinnia seeds.  The goldfinch
birdies eat the seeds all day long and drop lots of seeds
and they git in my furs."

"So she has to give me more brushies and find
all the seeds.  But that OK 'cause I luv being brushed."

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

I'm just imagining you covered in marigolds and zinnias - you would look very pretty, but actually much prettier all brushed and neat.

Precious, all I can see is your lasers set to stun. 😁

But I do see how much you love your brushies! I bet that feels sooo good!

Your human has such pretty flowers. Unless a plant survives on neglect, it won't do well in my house or garden. Ha!

I think my comment disappeared! You would look very pretty with marigolds and zinnias in your fur, Precious, but you look much more beautiful in your natural state 😺

OMCs Precious...look at those highbeam lasers looking at us.
WOW they are powerful. You deserve a good brushing for that display of high beams.
We are dark and rainy and dreary here.
Sending Feline Friday hugs to you both

Aren't you scared out there in the pitch dark, Precious?

I saw a picture once of sheep growing grass on their backs from seeds and dirt being in the wool; maybe you could be like them, Precious.

Erin the Cat Princess said...

Ooooh, I say, you could be a bird and mousie magnet. It would certainly save having to go off hunting for them. But I guess birds pecking at you could be kind of annoying! πŸ˜‰
Stay well and happy, Precious.

Hi Precious! (Jo Jo waves wildly). We told Mom that instead of creating badges all the time or writing courses when she is on the computer, that she needs to comment on our furrends blogs (instead of just reading them too us). I purrticularly LOVE your laser eyes in the dark! Marv and Kozmo and I LOVE to do that to our Mom! And I LOVE to come LEAPING out of the darkness and attack her ankles in the dark! (Do you ever do that?) thanks for being a purrfect furrend and know that we LOVE you to bits (even if your furs is full of bits). Tee Hee your gal pal Jo Jo

Cats are so interesting, and even moreso in the dark. It gives you an air of mystery. Precious, if the birds like the seeds, aren't you better off covering yourself in seeds to attract the winged ones? You'd never run out of snacks that way.

Precious, I know my mom was never able to capture me with my lasers on. Or maybe she's afraid I'll zap her with them! You mim has some gorgeous flowers, my mom always has to get them already started, except she did have luck with zinnia seeds,

Dearest Lynn and Precious,
Love those images!
Well, just recovered from the dark myself after more than 4 days without power due to Hurricane Helene...
Kitties noticed the difference too and it was hot and humid inside...
Hugs,
Mariette

Mariette, I am so glad you are safe. I know you recently had other storm tree damage cleared, I hope you do not have to go through that again.

Marilyn @ MountainTopSpice said...

Sweet Precious, I think she lays in the dirt and seeds just to get brushed! She is indeed so very precious, and I love how she is always watching out for you Lynn! Many blessings to you both :)

CCL Wendy said...

Some don't like getting the brush-off, but you have obviously evolved to enjoy it. Wishing you plenty of brushings in the future.

Having seeds is worth it for the brushies, right? Your eyes are beautiful, especially when they glow.

Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday, and please forgive me taking longer to comment, it's been a rough two weeks.
