I have seen this young cat on the bike path a few times this
year. It is always in close proximity to a nice house that
has 3 horses and a small stable. No idea if it is a barn cat
or just one that was born close enough to stay around.
I didn't give much thought to it rubbing all over my legs
until I biked away. Once I got off a ways I wondered about
the chance of getting poison ivy from it's fur. I took my
drinking water and a paper towel I carry and washed off
as best as I could. Never did get poison ivy, thank goodness.

There's a pussy~cat down the road from me,
who, when he sees me, does the same thing,
and loves lots of fuss...tummy tickles and all..! :).
Best get on, l'm gonna jump on a bus in an hour,
and take a trip to Poole, a coastal town, about
half hour away, coffee, shops etc...may even
spend money..HeHe! New pair of trainers..?

That is a picture of a very VERY loving kitty. He certainly sees you as a possible friend. I would imagine if that had been my mom she's STILL be there, poor thing. She is a pushover for cats.
Our Mom is super allergic to poison ivy. Glad Lynn didn't get it. Ye be a fine pirate!

Thankful Lynn did not get Poison Ivy...never had it but I have heard it is miserable

Gosh that was a very friendly cat Lynn - he/she seemed very social & happy to be rubbing against your legs. I am not familiar with Poison Ivy (by that I mean I've heard of it as a plant but not as something we can contract ourselves). Lucky you remembered to wash off your legs.
Precious I think you may a purrfect pirate but I am not sure you would want to be sailing the high seas! I think you have much better comforts at home with treats & leg time. Wishing you both a great weekend - it is lovely outside today & I need to mow lawns but Oh My it is chilly inside. I have lit the fire as I am getting "the look" from Madam Pip. x0x0x
