She keeps hi-jackin' my blog!

"I know, I know,  you thought Lynn was done with her commentary on travel.  Well,  was I evfur shocked, (not), that she wanted to finish off with some more stuff."

"Naturally I just wanna take a snooze 'cause she can be
boring."

These are photos of Newark, Ohio where the glass museum is.

The court house is just like a castle. You can see the gold leaf
on the cupola and the statues of Justice.

I'm always amazed at murals.  This town has so many, but
in the blocks I walked I only got the 2 photos.

"Lynn 'splained to me that this was the original Jail House back in
the day.  I thought maybe she oughta be locked up fur leaving me."

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

What a lovely town/city! At least the parts Lynn saw. Perfect for tourists.

Precious, never fear, we know it's YOUR blog, though it's nice to see bits and pieces of your human's life too!

I hope you get lots of patio time this weekend. Our first long weekend of the "summer" season looks to be a wash-out, with cool temps and rain. Oh well, it's good for the gardens!

The murals are amazing.
The court house and the jail house look impressive and forbidding. Any criminal's heart would sink into his boots at the sight of them.

Precious, those are purrfect pictures! My mom loves them. She loves building murals when they are as close to perfection as these are. That train had me fooled at first glance! I thought the Engineer was tall!! and thin but it took several seconds to see it was a mural. I wonder who did that? That is one of the best ever! The other of market Day was superb! Licking County? Must be a Cat Bathing Emporium!! The Court House ad the jail house are fabulous. I sincerely love your trips out and about and you sure find those extremely interesting photos for us. Thanks.

Sorry Precious but we do love the photos that Mum shows us of her out and abouts trips. It is fascinating to see those murals & those old buildings - such history in them. I love the courthouse - it does look just like a castle! You are looking well there, sweet Precious, in your grey onesie. Just not that happy that Mum has been taking over your blog again (!!) Have a lovely weekend both of you - its thick fog here - you can hardly see in front of you. Fire is roaring. x0x

Great pictures! We don't have much for murals around here...just graffiti.

That's quite a fancy jail house and court.

You are so wonderful, Precious, to share your photos and share your mamas adventures with us. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.

Java Bean: "Ayyy, your murals there are amazing! Our murals here don't look anything like that! Ours look like crazy shaped letters and stuff."
Lulu: "That's graffiti, Bean."
Java Bean: "Graffiti? What do those long-necked things at the Safari Park have to do with it?"

Nice pictures. I especially appreciated the buildings, raised back when courthouses looked like palaces of justice and jails looked strong yet somehow attractive.

Lynn took some furry interesting photos, Precious. If she is going to be leaving you behind effurry now and then, to go walkabout, at least you get to see the places she visited. That's why WE like to read OUR Mummy's own bloggie about her field-trips.

That's funny.
My late husband was from Newark so I've been there twice.

That is some amazing artwork you saw there. I do like to see old buildings, and to know some of their previous uses. I wonder how folks saw them back in their heyday?
Have a lovely week, and hopefully your staff wont hijack your blog this time πŸ˜‰

That is an interesting city your Mom visited!! I almost thought the train was in the station of a train museum...LOL! A very realistic mural! A very ornate courthouse and that jail looks imposing!

I hope you got extra treats for your reward of staying home while SHE went out!
