Reading on Friday the 13th

"Lynn and I thought the 13th was a good day to read together."

"She found this magazine about kitties and how we
operate. At least hoomans think they know enough to
write stuff about us."

"I know Mudpie and Valkyrie and Millie, Tinslee will like
this one."

"This is about me!  A Maltese! In my grey Onesie!

"And here is about Chili Bruce  and Manny of
Eastside Cats; Smol Oona; Trouble too.
And we can't furgit Maxwell, Benny and Sable."

"Lynn says she's not sure how they conducted research.
You know hoomans can not speak Meow to learn
the true facts."

Precious,  it is a fun magazine and there were so many other
color of cats mentioned.  I agree,  I can not begin to
imagine what goes through your mind!

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

  1. I'm afraid l can't be bothered with such fiction...
A cat is a cat, is a cat...the most independent
creature on the planet, and, you'll never train a
    cat...HeHe! Bless them...!
And that's one reason l love them so much, always
    have, always will...!

I'll read the 'Grey Zone' and 'Black Listed' when l get
back from Poole, later to~day...It's turned out quite
nice, mild and warm, so l'm gonna jump on the bus,
and have a morning in Poole, besides l need to order
a cheque book, as all the banks have closed here where
l live, and Poole is the nearest big town...!

    Oh! And l'd completely forgot...Yes! It's Friday the 13th....
Now! what are you supposed to do on Friday 13th...???
Walk crossed legged...? Walk backwards...??? Stay in
    bed 'ALL' day...??? HeHe! :O).

Oh! Lynn, Precious...Thankyou once again for my e'card
    Valentine...Thankyou! Love it...! :O).
Will be sending mine out first thing tomorrow...! :O).

  2. That was a fun read. Of course you are the best of all of them, Precious. I don't know why black cats are considered unlucky by some people. It always used to be considered lucky here if a black cat crossed your path.

  5. Whatever the cat's colour, they're all rather remarkable Beings! I have to disagree with Willie about all cats being independent, since my boys were all quite needy! Far needier than my angel Annie!

Happy Valentine's Day, Precious and Lynn! πŸ’–

    1. Yes! I suppose you are right Kea....
      Though..l've always said...
      "Dogs have owners..Cats have staff"..!
If there's summat they want, or want to
do...they know exactly how to get it...Bless! :)

  6. Aww, I love how cozy and fun this is! Do you and Lynn always pick Friday the 13th for reading, or was this a special treat? Also, I’m curious—which kitty story made you laugh the most? Happy weekend, hope it’s filled with purrs and smiles.

  9. Humans really have no idea why cats do what they do, but they keep writing books!
Housepanthers are the bestest, unless you are a Henry.
    Hehehe!

  13. Precious Gray friend.
What a fun find Lynn made. Please thank her for sharing the info with us. I enjoyed the tortie and grey.
Angel Madi was Charcoal Gray and white. Many/ most thought she was black and white.

  16. Well that was a fascinating read Lynn & Precious. Interesting that Black Cats take the longest to be adopted due to Western superstitions. I find that fascinating. I notice there was no page shown on Ginger Cats - I think this might require an entire book all of its own!!! Shhh don't tell Madam Pip.
You look well in that photo dear Precious - well & contented. Which is all we can ever ask for isn't it. Wishing you both a wonderful weekend - we have had the biggest downpours since yesterday & now flooding all around my area this morning & warnings to stay home. Its a good thing I don't need to go anywhere & I have good stocks of cat food isn't it!!! x0x0x

  17. Well, those descriptions do fit the cats I have had. Neville was the aloof grey, Millie is the tough-minded tortoiseshell (Valkyrie was certain only half tortie), Imogen the black cat is devoted and sweet. (Sable, being by origin a feral, is a special case.)

  21. They may not know everything on your mind, but they do understand a good bit after observing feline behavior for so many decades.

Anyway, you are all special and unique and I thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!

  22. Well, WE think it's rather purr-sumptuous for humans to claim they know what a kitty is thinking!
Anyway, Precious, We hope you and Lynn had a lovely Valentine's Day.

  24. Tuxedo cats are renowned for having big, bold personalities often described as highly intelligent, affectionate, and "dog-like" in their loyalty. These black-and-white feline companions are typically outgoing, talkative, and energetic, frequently engaging in playful, mischievous behavior throughout their lives. They are often described as confident, charming, and very attached to their human owners! I'm not sure Mr Kozmo would like being described as "Dog Like" but the description fits him to a T! Now Tiger Tabbies like Me and Marv are known to be friendly, intelligent, and confident, they are outgoing, curious, and playful. We are described as affectionate social butterflies, we adapt well to families, children, and other pets, while retaining a strong, mischievous hunting instinct! I think that makes us the purrfect complement to YOU! You ROCK! Happy Flag Day and thanks for stopping by! Your gal pal, Jo Jo
