"Now hoomans, don't git the idea that I am willing to wear clothes 'cause I'm not. But Lynn received this bandana and thought it was more appropriate fur me than her."
"I can purr to you that it did not stay on long."
"I am a pawsitive thinkin' kitty. But you can see this is slip sliding
away. I really just wanted the drawer open and better yet
if Lynn would have removed it fur me so I could crawl
in the dresser."
"Lynn took me to Dr. Feelbad's office and he sucked out my
bloods. Lynn says I'm lucky he used a needle, acause when
she was young with the dinosaurs, they used leeches!"
It was only 7 degrees (-14 C) and the roads were not that
clean from the storm. We had 20 inches or more.
But we safely got her out and back home.
for the injections of I-131. Both sites created bad scabs
and peeled a few times. These are radiation burns. I can
imagine what happened inside. She now has just a bald area that
we hope will grow back fur. The area was obviously very
sore and she wants no part of getting petted or brushed
there. She tries to lick, but her head won't swivel that far.
We didn't get the test results yet.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

HeHe! precious, tell Mum, a bandana goes
ReplyDeletearound the head, not the bottom/bum.....
Still...It stayed on long enough for a photo..! :).
And lets hope your results aren't positive.....
Hope they come out 'ALL' o.k.
I've had a terrible week, my little town has been
flooded, the market square, and the two streets
either side, West St. and East St. flooded,...all
taped and closed down...all schools closed....
I managed to cross the traffic lights, at the bottom
of my road, walk up the left hand side, to the surgery,
which is where l wanted to go, then down to Costa
for coffee, then the long way round home again.....!
Never seen so much water since l was a boy, as this
used to happen, every year..till they got round to fixing
it...coming up 8.30...and the sun has just popped out...! :).

Precious, I can imagine you telling Lynn exactly what she could do with that bandana!
ReplyDeleteI have my fingers crossed for your results. Those burn areas definitely speak volumes! ❤️❤️❤️
You were very good to keep the bandana on for that long, Precious! I am glad they don't use leeches now, or they probably would use them on me. My veins no longer give up enough blood for the blood tests, so I have a port implanted in my chest just below my shoulder.
ReplyDeleteI am glad the radiation burns have healed now, and hope your fur grows back quickly.
Thank you to you and Lynn for the pretty card. It was a lovely surprise when it arrived earlier this week.
Nice to see you sweet Precious! We will be anxious to hear the results of your test sweetie.
ReplyDeleteSending your bucketloads of purrs, Precious!
ReplyDeleteFrigid cold and snow...ugh, c'mon spring!
MOL MOL Precious you have to draw the line at some things.
ReplyDeleteI do appreciate you modeling for me and I am PAWsitive it was a one and only time.
Looks like things are healing. I know you are all anxious for test results.
Cold everywhere and snow every where.
There is even a prediction of 6-10" on our Coast where my daughter and son in law live. The coast might get a dusting of snow every so often but this is unreal...and they have 60 mph gust predicted.
Warm hugs Cecilia
Oh Precious ~ sweetie you are and hope test results are good ~ hugs,

That bandana is a tad oversized for you, Precious!
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry about the ouchies. We hope the test results will be good.
Purrs,
The Chans
Wow, that burn looks awful! As The Tabbies said, yes, pure unrefined coconut oil might well help to speed up the healing, Hope your furs grow back to hide that badge of honor.
ReplyDeleteHope the test results will be good news.
You need all of your furs in these cold temps, Precious. We are praying for positive test results. I am one who doesn't mind wearing bandanas so it wouldn't have bothered me.
ReplyDeleteSending loads of purrs that all is well now :) Mudpie won't allow me to post photos of her shaved bottom!
ReplyDeleteSending Power of the Paw that you heal up all right and your test results are good !
ReplyDeleteGoodness me dear Precious - I can see you trying to get rid of that bandana. I see your feather on the ground - is that one of your toys I wonder.
ReplyDeleteI hope that the blood results come back all good & that you don't have to have any more of that horrid treatment dear Precious. I can imagine how worried Lynn has been about you. I think it is good that you weren't able to reach the burn mark as you may have licked it & then they would've put you in one of those awful big collar thingies. Madam Pip can escape one of those - she hates them so much.
I hope you get some warmer temps soon. A lady I follow on YouTube who lives near Berlin Ohio, which I think is not far from you - well she showed the snow storm on last weeks video & it was a heavy one. I thought of you all the way through it. Take care both of you. x0x
Thank you for posing with the bandana. I'm glad your visit to Dr. Feelbad is over and thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.
ReplyDeleteThe bandana looks good on you. I am sorry you got burns. I am praying you have a good blood test. XO
ReplyDeleteMy paws are crossed for pawsitive results, dear Precious. I'm sure that spot will grow back before you know it. Mom and dad took me to a new vet across the river in Lambertville since they were't real happy with the one right here in town. My early kidney issues were confirmed, but they said it wasn't too bad just yet, and I get to try some new k/d foods. Stay warm and safe!
ReplyDeletePoor Precious! I hope her results are encouraging.
ReplyDeletePewcious! I am sohappy that Mom is reading our furrends blogs on her laptop this morning! Usually she reads them at night, in bed, on her tablet and it does not like letting us comment. Yes, Mom COULD fix it and she SHOULD fix it, but she says she is old and forgetful and forgets until we are in bed reading, but enough of MY PURRSONAL complaints. Grrl furrend, I am so sorry you can't lick between your shoulderblades and that you still have a sore spot! If I was there, I would curl up against your back so your bald spot stayed warm! We are purraying that you get a terrific prognosis and we are keeping you in our purrayers! Keep being awesome grrl furrend! Your gal Pal, Jo Jo (and Marvelous says Hi!)
ReplyDeleteOh Precious! Hope your test results come back all good and those sore spots go away soon. Smokey had a terribly bad sore spot on a back foot. He came limping home with his foot all swollen. We took good care of him, and it is all healed up now. You and Lynn take care.
ReplyDeleteOh, Precious, sweet girl, We are so sorry you got those burns. We are purring Our hardest that your test results are good. As for the bandana - We can understand you not wanting to wear Clothes, but We have to say, it looks furry good on you, Dearest Girl!
ReplyDeletePrecious, I you look pretty with the bandana on your hips! Would it help if if gently lick your sores? Sending lots of licks & sniffs❣️ Rocky
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Our beloved brother Dennis got his very own bandana once from the vet that said he was 'One Tough Dog'. And you are One Tough Cat."
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Hang in there, Precious!"
I hope the test results come back with good news.
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious and utterly charming! ππΎ I love the personality in your words — it really gives off that sassy, playful vibe. The way you capture the “no way I’m wearing clothes” attitude while still making the bandana feel fun is just perfect. Lynn clearly has great taste, and your storytelling makes us all smile! π§£✨

Oh you purrecious girl. What a COOL bandana, but we think you have to wear it differentlyπΉπΉMaybe you just wanted to hide the bald part, which we hope will be full of fur again soon. We send Healing Pawkisses to you sweet girl and purray for a good outcomeππΌπΎπ½π
ReplyDeletePoor Precious, needles are horrid, I hope you had a treat after it.
