"Lynn tells me I will git boxed up on Monday morning.
She says I have to leave her fur a couple days. I do not
understand, which is a good thing. Boxing day should
be fur good stuff, not bad stuff."
Precious is scheduled for I-131 iodine treatment for
her hyperthyroid condition. If all goes well she will
only be gone for 2 days.
At some point in the future when we both feel up to
purring about this, we will share what bad stuff has
happened in the past couple months.

I am sorry you haven't been well, Precious. I hope the iodine treatment goes well. I know of a few people who have had it, but not cats. It worked really well for them. You have to be isolated for a couple of days so you don't scare Lynn if you glow in the dark. Only kidding! I am sending you lots of good wishes and will be thinking of you.

hubby are taking Nala for a longer walk....

ReplyDeleteYes it is indeed a good thing you do not understand dear sweet Precious. I think this is equally as stressful on Us, the owners as it is on our beloved furry family members. I am hoping it is only 2 nights Lynn & she can come home & be fine. We have to think positive. Sending love & prayers for a speedy procedure & a good recovery (for both of you).

ReplyDeleteSweetheart, Precious, you WILL be alright. My Auntie Robin, a tiny Tortie had it, though she had to stay at University 6 days or so. BUT--- when she got home (she was the last in-out of doors cat ) she left the car, and truly within 20 or so minutes she had caught a rabbit and brought it to the deck for our supper. We thanked her and petted her till she let go...then we distracted her with her own supper in the house.
