Late Christmas Trees

"Lynn wanted to show off some Christmas trees she saw last month. She went to a local museum and left me sleeping in my bed tent."

"But she left my brunch out as she was taking off
about the time I git up furom my morning siesta."

"So here goes."

"This was fur anyone who has already furgotten about
Christmas."

The building was built in 1906 first as an insane ayslum,
then a hospital: a school; an orphanage.  It is history
right in the wooden floor boards.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

  1. Oh! When was Christmas then...? Must have
    missed it...! :(.
    HeHe! I always enjoy Christmas..Love It..! :).
All the trees, all the tinsel, all the happy kids....
Great fun...Oh! And food...Love 'ALL' the food!
    In fact, l'll still eating it...Leftovers....! :O).
And..the home looks so empty when everything
is put away for next year...back to normal, as it
    was...So...what's next...? Ah! Easter....though not
quite the same is it..? Chocolate...mmmmmM! :).

So, the old building was an Insane Asylum (HeHe!
Please note the spelling)...I should'nt worry to much
about it...it's just a 'mad' house..Bless! Mind you,
schools are far off being Mad Houses..! Bless! :O).
    So keeping up with Christmas....

  2. I like your tent bed, Precious - so secluded. It was nice to see the Christmas decorations - I really like the Snoopy one.

Whew thank goodness Lynn remember to make sure your brunch was available. I won't want her to return home to your back of disrespect. I thank Lynn for the lovely photos she took on her field trip too. I especially like the tree on the wall

  12. Oh look at you there, tucked away in your little tent dear Precious. Lynn I never get tired of looking at christmas things - I've just taken a friend to a store this morning, away a distance from here, that has a christmas corner all year long. It was wonderful & I was very restrained & did not buy anything.
That building has certainly had a very colourful, checkered history hasn't it. Happy Weekend to you both - if you could manage to send some rain all the way over here it would be much appreciated. x0x

  15. For some reason what appeals to me most are the stockings ascending with the stairs, and the wooden floorboards. I love wooden floors...

  16. Oh, and Precious's tent. The walls reminds me of gem-like rock formations. It's like a cave.

  19. So much festivity under one roof! Lovely to see the once I think. I love that the building has a history of it's own, though the asylum bit always scares me for what strange practices went on in the old days.
Now that bed tent looks awesome. I'm jealous and am insisting Mrs H sets me up one asap. Of course that will mean she needs to vacate the bed for the floor, MOL
