"I wanna make sure you all realize Lynn was not trolling fur fish. She found a troll doll museum next door to the cat museum!"
"She was so blown away by the sheer number of these
slightly ugly dolls, she furgot to take many photos. So she
took pictures of the brochure and hope you git the idea."
Of all the things to go into the Guinness World Record book!
Outside mural.
Just one display out of 14 rooms! Unbelievable that one place
had so very many of these trolls.
Most rooms were set up with themes. One was a football stadium
with troll players and cheer leaders.
a bubble gum type machine back when she was young
in the '60's. That was when these things were living with
dinosaurs."
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

WOW, that sure is a lot of trolls to keep track of sweet Precious!
ReplyDeletePhew! When I saw the title of your post in my reader I thought someone had been trolling your blog. That is a lot of trolls. The only one I have is a wine bottle stopper I bought in Norway. Of course with the majority of wine bottles being screw cap it doesn't get used often now.

How absolutely gorgeous you look dear Precious, in that first photo (I mean you DO look gorgeous all the time but Mum has just captured your sweet face so well).
ReplyDeleteSecondly I remember the trolls - I had one once with green hair that I brushed constantly til quite a bit of it fell out!!! I think I would have had to go into that museum too & have a looksy. I think they always had sweet happy faces.
Lastly thank you for making me laugh with your comment about the dinosaurs .. I think that even though Mum & I are "oldish" dear Precious - we might have missed the dinosaur period by just a smidgeon. π
Have a great weekend both of you - we are getting ready for Round 1 Christmas lunch today - stepchildren & stepgrandchildren ... best I get off here & prepare some food!!! xXx
The things you can find these days! Dad says he remembers he and his sibs having several of those things growing up.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I still have a bunch of my troll dolls from the 80s.
ReplyDeleteI had a troll when I was a kid and my mom threw it away because she thought they were bad luck. I have a lot of gnomes though. :) XO
ReplyDeleteLulu: "So that's where the trolls come from! We thought they either all lived under bridges or in their parents' basements!"
ReplyDeleteI love that comment from Oceanside. I would have said the same but they beat me to it. Seriously, I would have.
ReplyDeleteA strange thing to collect... I think I'd prefer the cat museum. But that's just me.
ReplyDeleteMummy remembers collecting trolls when she was at primary school. These are much cuter than in the Nordic legends.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly is an unusual collection!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Precious this was a fun stroll with the trolls.
ReplyDeleteWe had a wonderful 4 day visit with Marlu and Greg and grandkitties. I have tons of photos. OMCs Marlu and Greg surprised us with a most unique gift. They arranged for a behind the scenes tour of the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium...gotta get the photos sorted.
Hugs Cecilia
Oh yes - that was fun.
ReplyDeleteBut despite all the fun, dinner has to be eaten and on time.
Merry Christmas.
A merry Christmas to everyone there. May your holidays be wonderful and your new year even better.
