Orange Glow

"Lynn, who heard of an orange Christmas tree?  What were you thinking?"

"Folks, Lynn had me working hard on this tiny
orange lit tree.  I had to rearrange the lights and
put out the Autumn dolly and gourds.
She 'bout wore out my sharp claws and I got
lotsa needle pricks."

"Lynn said we were trying for a Fall kinda
light fest or some such thing.  Mostly it keeps
me awake during leg time at night.  This thing
has been lit since late September.  Fur Halloween
and such."

"She went a bought a brand new 5 foot
pre-lit Christmas tree.  I will not have to do
the lightin' on it.  Just help hang ornaments. So I'm
just pawsitive my soft tender toes will not
git prickled."

"Of course, silly Lynn wanted to show off her furiend
who lives at the water spigot outside.  She uses this tap
fur most of her bird bath filling and carrying buckets and
buckets of water during the drought.  She says this guy
never gives her any trouble and she LIKES him!  Yikes."

"I got home furom the v-e-t dental appointment with all
my pearly whites.  But they nipped my claws!
I am less itchy now at 2 weeks later, and not barking yet."

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

  1. I love spiders to Precious...a very BIG garden spider
has just built a large web outside the dining room
window, hopefully a few more over the weekend,
they don't have much time left to fill their tummies
    up for the winter sleep...!

And...the tree looks lovely, l still have my 'pink' tree
in the front room, on the coffee table and under the
standard lamp, it's only 18inches high with silver
babbles, it's sat there now for four years, l pick it
up once a month, and give it a shake...get any dust
    off...HeHe! Bless! :).

And...Your toofy~pegs look great Precious, all nice
and clean and white...and you had yer claws trimmed
to, pleased to hear your not barking yet...HeHe! Bless!x

  2. I think the orange tree looks lovely. I need to buy a new small tree. We did have a live miniature tree but I planted it in the garden and it is too big to dig up now.
I am glad your dental went well and you didn't lose any teeth.
Lynn is welcome to her friendly spider! When I went out the door yesterday morning I walked into a spider thread that went one side to the other. Ugh!

  3. It's good to have cheerful lights when the nights are long and dark.
Precious, I'm pleased you came home safely with everything intact and clean.

I'm going to try to block that spider pic from my mind....shudder. 'Nough said.

Yay for pearly whites! And keeping all of your teeth. Lol. I'm sure that's a relief to you and to Lynn.

    Happy November 1st!

  7. Dearest Lynn and Precious,
You sure did a good job on the little orange tree.
That outside spider would not scare me either, as long as they don't move inside.
    Hugs,
    Mariette + Kitties

  8. Precious I 100000% agree with Lynn and her fall light fest.
We have fairy lights on the mantel and we have an individual
LED electric light stand for our glass pumpkins. It gets dark so early we love the extra warm light. The orange tree is purrfect
Yay x 100 for a great dental visit and pedicure and best of all not itching. Your last photo is too cute
    Hugs Cecilia

  9. I have a pre-lit Christmas tree, but with the new cats, I can't decorate it with ornaments until I see how they behave about it. I am glad the vet visit shows some positive results for you, Precious. Now you're caught up on your health!

  10. Precious! We LOVE spiders at our house! Alas our human bro is scared of the big Orb Spiders that USED to live on our deck! He has moved them all to back by the shed...Mom misses their beautiful webs shining in the damp of the morning. We are so furry pleased that your vet visit was without incident. You should stop punishing your Peeps for taking you though...And Kozmo goes for the Temptations Lickable Spoons as his I survived the Vet treat!
Keep being awesome Precious Yout Gal Pal Jo Jo!

  11. Oh How wonderful the tree looks dear Precious!! How special to have it out for so long & to enjoy it .. especially as your nights grow longer & days shorter.
But I am afraid I do NOT love Lynns friend at the water tap - he (or she) would have me running a mile, I have a bit of a fear of them, do not kill them but run from them. Luckily we do not have really large ones here, not that I have seen anyway. So pleased the Vet visit went okay & you are not barking like a dog Precious. Wishing you both a peace filled weekend xx

  14. That tree is pretty cool and has a nice, warm glow. We won't be pulling ours out until at least after Thanksgiving.

  15. That orange tree looks lovely, Precious.
The Spider does NOT look lovely. Would you believe it, yesterday, Mummy saw a spider inside the stairway window and instead of squishing it, she got a glass and put it over it, and a piece of paper underneath, and gently put it outside?!!!

  16. What a great idea to have an autumn tree. Lots of russet colours and treats of the season too I hope? Now that seems a big spider to me, not one Mrs H would tackle. Better outdoors than in me or inside, MOL
Have a wonderful time decorating come the next holidays.

  18. They say that variety is the spice of life, don't they?

Sorry about the claws, but it seems humans don't really appreciate them when they're at their best.

  19. One of my clients has a tree she decorates for every season, it's beautiful.

I like spiders and leave them be. They are very helpful.

It sounds like the vet visit wasn't that awful.

  20. That tree is cute! We like it. While we don't wish the spider any ill, we don't want him as a neighbour, either! Take care :)
