"Lynn, no one wants to watch the bouncing ball and sing along with you. They are here to help me keep an eye on you."
"I nevfurr know when you are going to git up
and maybe give me a scrap of food. I feel
like I must always watch out so you do not furgit
about feeding me."
Precious, like you are going to let that happen!
"Well, maybe I can relax a bit and do some
sun bathing 'til later."
This would be me if I had two cats, I am sure.
Thankfully with just a lap full of Precious, I get
to sit in the chair instead of on the top of it.
Pink lilies for Seney. But with 98 degrees here
in north central Ohio, I do not expect them to last long.
What weather!
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.
I don't think Mum will ever forget to

Dearest Lynn and Precious,
ReplyDeleteOh no—you will not be forgotten to get your food.
Always good for keeping an eye on your Mommy though.
Lovely pink lillies!
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
Precious, you are June could NEVER be "roommates" with your shared obsession for food!
ReplyDeleteOMC ... and sharing chair space, too!
Do the two of you have private emails where you discuss this without Lynn and me knowing about it ... am beginning to have suspicions about that.
PS try to stay cool y'all, you got it worse than we do, by a wee bit, no walkabouts for us right now
I don't think there is any chance of your mum forgetting to feed you, Precious! The cartoon made me laugh, and the lilies are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely card and kind thoughts. It was such a lovely surprise when they all arrived.
You look very happy sunbathing sweet Precious and those flowers are very pretty!
ReplyDeletePrecious, you have that laser eye on high beam! π
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure your human won't forget to feed you!
The lilies are lovely. It's been hot and muggy, but we also always have breezes (or gales, lol) coming off the Lake, so our temps are usually a bit cooler than more inland areas nearby. 98F is sweltering!
Stay cool and keep well hydrated. ❤️
precious…just in caze ..cauz ya never noe when sum time haz eee lapsed with out fizh…

Precious Angel Madi was alwasy on the verge of starvation...even as she walked away from her food.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty lilies...I am sorry the dang southern heat is up your way.
Next 5 days here will be scorchers with triple digit feels like
Hugs to you all
Cecilia
Java Bean: "Ayyy, 98 degrees?! Mother Nature has a fever! Somebody give her some Tylenlol, stat!"
ReplyDeletePre ius! YOU are nicer to your mommy in a way, than I am to mine! I refuse to allow her to read when I am on her lap. If she picks up a book...I become alert..if she opens it, I leave! I show HER!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lilies. That is a cool eye Precious. And I thought it was hot here at 87. Yikes! XO
ReplyDeleteOnly three sleep on the bed with me, and I feel lucky I don't have all five. The lilies look pretty and delicate; no wonder they won't last long.
ReplyDeleteYou and you Mom have such a lovely relationship! I wish Dani would lie on my lap, but the sad truth is that she's too big. She's not overweight, just a typical Maine Coon, We have to watch at 24 lbs. Actually that's rather outsize for the female coons.
ReplyDeleteAnyway , I live in awe, and awww of you and your Mom. At least I can pet Dani when she lies on the couch beside me.
Hugs and kisses, W&D
I do not think Mum would ever forget about feeding you dear Precious. We can't have you wasting away to a shadow in your grey onesie!!! I love the cartoon but joking aside ... that is kinda what it is like around here some days!!! Especially when Blackie is on the chair .. there's not alot of room left for anyone else. Lilies are stunning = one of my faves. Wishing you both a great weekend! x0x
ReplyDeleteThat card is adorable! So true. Precious, I don't think she would ever forget to feed you.
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly been a series of scorchers, hasn't it?
ReplyDelete"Follow the bouncing ball..." That takes me back.
ReplyDeleteWe are sure Lynn could neffur forget to feed you, Precious!
ReplyDeleteMummy snickered at that cartoon. It's soooooooo spot on (mol).
98 is way too high. Hopefully, you were able to keep those blooms a bit longer!
ReplyDeleteWith one bed and sofa, I am pushed to find space. Mrs H really takes up too much room for a housekeeper, MOL
Stay safe and cool and have a great week.
ERin
Well, it is HOT, HOT here too! It was still 93 degrees last night at 7:30 p.m. and is already 90 this morning. We can only go to the catio and turn into melted cat puddles. The cartoon looks like our house; though, of course, there are many more of us. Have a great week. ReplyDeleteGood mamas like yours do not forget about food for you, I promise.
ReplyDeleteI hope you can keep cool and thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!
Mommy said to tell you she hates yellow jackets with a passion too. They have really hurt several of my brothers. When she was a 5 yr. old girl she was fascinated by the paper wasps' nests. In where she comes from in VA. they were called Mud Daubers.
ReplyDeletePrecious
ReplyDeletePlease tell Mom her card arrived in today's mail.
Loads of hugs and love
Cecilia
I think your Mom must feed you regularly, but I know that Dani always likes a little treat here or there. Isn't your Mom's lap a lot cushier than the chair or the sofa? You got it good, girl!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, check out THAT glowing orb! Dad loves that old Eagles tune. He said that artwork reminds him of me and how much room I hog on his footrest.
