Woe is She

"Lynn, my ear drums hurt! My head hurts! I's sleep deprived!"

"What's with you people!
What do I care if the our tan house is
turning green!  So what if the grass is
arm pit high!  And why does rain have
to be so loud!  Thunderbooms non-stop!"

Poor Precious,  she has put up with a lot in the past
8 or 9 days.
We had the house power washed one day, and thankfully
that only took one hour.  But the next evening when
she and I were having our 3 hour leg time, a horrible
thunder storm raced through here and sent her off
hiding for the rest of the evening.
The next morning we got our lawn mowed for the first
time this year (way early by the way).
And now just in week we are
back to serious and loud thunder storms.  We have
received 5 or 6 inches of rain.  And then it turned
cold and snowed an inch.
Spring, you say?

"I am recovering a bit.  But now
I am worried about my floofy tuxedo gal pal
Katie Isabella.  She is going to the dreaded v-e-t
and going to have her bloods sucked out and who
knows what else.  I have my paws folded fur her to
git home safe and intact."

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

  1. Goodness! Precious...Your having much the same
weather as we are...as l look out the Paddington
Bear curtains, it's raining....so far, over here, there
has'nt been a day without rain...and wind, and the
rest of it, that comes with, the grass out back needs
cutting to, but, that's partly due the the shed door
being 'stuck' and rotted...so l can't open it to get
my Flymo out, to cut the grass, having a new one
    fitted next Monday week...15th..! :).

My daughter's popping in later on there way back home,
from a five day break down on the coast, they live up
in the Midlands...Stoke~On~Trent...! Be nice to see
    their puppy~dog Nala...and it's the first time she's seen
the sea...not to impressed with it either..HeHe! Bless! :).

Let's hope it's a bit quieter for you over the weekend
Precious, catch up on a bit of shut~eye..Bless!x

  2. Oh, dear, Precious, what a torrid time you've been having. Winter doesn't seem to want to let go where you live, does it? I hope the weekend is calmer, drier, brighter.

  6. Poor Precious, that was way too much for your ear drums!
Pressure washing, thunder, lawn mower noise and painters too?!
But consider that you will have a quiet weekend and think about your furry friend Katie.
    Hugs,
    Mariette + Kitties

  7. Precious bless your itty bitty kitty heart. You had a month of trauma in just a few days. Kisses to your sweet nose.

I too have sent many purrs and love to Katie Isabella and her devoted Mom...that today goes well

  8. Lulu: "I am not a fan of those kinds of loud noises either, Precious. I recommend hiding under somebody's desk until they're over!"

  9. We are getting the same terrible weather, Precious. They said on the news that between October last year and this March it has been the second wettest 6 months since records began in 1873! We are now in the middle of another storm with another one forecast for Monday. Enough is enough!

  10. Evidently having your house power-washed is the equivalent to washing your car - brings on the rain. Which brings on the grass growing.

  11. Oh goodness me dear sweet Precious - you would not want to be here at our house then!! We have had the tree trimming men here for 3 days in a row (they are still not finished) ... their chainsaws & their huge mulcher are so noisy that all of our ears hurt - except The Mr as he is deaf anyway πŸ˜‰ Poor Pippi, Blackie & Little One are so traumatised!!!
I do hope you get some fine weather soon ... but that is typical spring now isn't it ... all the seasons in one day sometimes!!! Wishing you both a peace filled weekend. x0x

  14. Thank you darling Precious. Thank you. I was gone from 9-4 today my gosh. Asleep most of it. I found out my teefs aren't bad, my weight is much lower though and I'll find out about my bloods next Tuesday maybe. XXXOOO always. Wait till you see the toy mom bought me. My gosh. The Tabbies will have something to say about it for sure. YOU might also. I will post it tonight or tomorrow.

  17. It sounds like you've been through the wringer. I hope the storms go away, I don't like those either.

  18. Oh Precious, I hope things have settled down for you. I don't like thunder storms either. We have had unusual weather lately too. Summer one day and winter the next...and always the wind blowing. Smokey says Hey!

  19. Oh Good Gosh, Precious- you and I are the same with all that noisy crap. Even loud (especially high-pitched) noises on tv shows can make me run for cover. Funny- the day dad did his first mowing at work his oldest son sent him a photo from their home in Minnesota showing grandson #1 plowing fresh snow with the 4-wheeler!

  21. Precious, We hope you have recovered from your traumatically noisy week!
Yes, We, too, are worried about Katie Isabella and are purring hard for her.

  22. Oh my, the weather is enough to drive everyone mad these days. High winds and rain squalls here of late and no sign of change!
Maybe build a quiet room for you both to shelter in when the storms come so you can share some quality leg time and cuddles in peace.
