Precious is lying on her sheet that I use
to put dry catnip on for rolling around on.
And at her window seat and stool to look out
the window.
Once she passes out from being wacked out,
she's also trying to catch early afternoon sunlight
in the few days we have some in winter.
She's gotten so she wants to be brushed 1/2 dozen
times a day.
I don't mind too much, but it means crawling on
the floor and sometimes these old knees are
not happy.
"That's the purr-oblem with you hoomans, you are too tall
and stand on 2 legs. Git on down here with me where
it's better."

I'm 6ft 3inches tall Precious, and yes..it is a long
way to the ground for me..though l'm closer to the
sun than most, so l get warmer quicker than most

Ahhh, all the pleasureable comforts of home. Your last sentence, dear Precious, is precisely what I say 'round here. In fact, one of my finest traits is begging for attention, then when mom or dad comes to give it to me, I walk away. Dad, ever the best catdad in the world, actually crawls along behind me to give me loves. Yeah, and then he, too mumbles something about his old knees.
ReplyDeletePrecious...my mom has almost quit crawling along behind me..but she does, some. You are a lucky girl but then, so am I. XX I need to leek for my Slicker comb too. Lately she's been enchanting me with my two headed brushie. One side is a regular bristle brushie and the other side is plastic thingies. I LOVE those. Let's visit one another and learn how to get more of what we want.

ReplyDeleteThis morning I emptied 2 litter boxes & washed out to dry in the sun, cleaned & refreshed 3 water bowls, including one wayyyy down in the garden, replenished 3 biscuit bowls & 3 wet food bowls, washed cat blankets & pegged out to dry .... then I started MY OWN day!!! They sure do create work - lucky we love them so much! Enjoy your weekend x0x0
Actually I forgot to add .... I should be thankful that all 3 of them don't want "brushings" like dear Precious does ... otherwise I surely would get nothing done!!! 😉
