"Lynn, I love this mohair shawl. It is the purr-fect fit fur me
and the right color fur my grey onesie."
I crocheted this shawl years ago and wore it
occasionally. I just never gave it away or otherwise
disposed of it. This winter Precious wants time
in the drawer every afternoon after her Greenies treat
and the last of her breakfast. (know here as brunch)
She really goes to town with the tootsies. The
yarn I used seems to be holding up under the use
by her sharp claws.
"Don't ever give this away, Lynn. I won't wear it,
but I may wear it out."
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.
My! My! Precious! You certainly love that

Precious, you ARE precious, kneading away like that. ♥
ReplyDeleteAngel Chumley used to knead like that, and suckle too, sometimes. Derry and his siblings were found very young; he didn't seems know he could knead on a blanket until he saw Nicki do it. Once in a while he would, but rarely. Annie didn't knead much, either, that I recall.
That is some darn happy fluff-it-up times sweet Precious!
ReplyDeleteThe shawl smells of yoo, Miz Lynn. Precious is mixing her aroma with yoors to make a purrfect bed. Love, Dori
ReplyDeleteThat drawer with the lovely shawl sounds like the most perfect place to spend some quality time, Precious!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Precious, you ARE going to town in that drawer on your shawl. And you are right. The color suits your onesie beautifully!
ReplyDeleteWoW! Precious! What a great way to spend time! i had Mom put the video up on the TV. I, Marv, like to jump on the blanket shelf in the hall closet, there are 2 crocheted blankets there, and I too like to exercise my claws! Mom says I close my eyes and drool whilst doing it...do you? Keep being awesome! Purrs Marv
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a more fitting use for such a pretty shawl.

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lovely, warm, soft shawl, Precious. And it purrobably has your Mommy's scent on it too. Furry cosy indeed.

ReplyDeleteDearest Lynn,
ReplyDeleteOur Speckie girl especially LOVES drawers, armoir and closets in general... Yes, she kneads.
You ought to see some of our beach towels with long draws, Pieter uses them to sleep on as he has early night sweats from his heart meds.
But so what! I got last year a cotton terry robe and that too got a kitty design make–over!
Hugs,
Mariette
