It is not nice to have your blood sucked out of your body, Precious. When I had my blood stolen on Monday they tested my thyroid levels and they are all over the place, one too high and one too low. It is being caused by the immunotherapy so they are not too worried at the moment. If they go much further out of range they will have to adjust my treatments.
ReplyDeleteI am glad your T4 is good and hope it stays like that.
Lovely photos of Valentine's Day memories.
Precious, I'm glad you had fun things to focus on to balance out the trip to the v-e-t! And I'm even happier tjsy all is well and that you don't have to return until the fall! Woohoo!!! ๐❤️
ReplyDeleteBlood draws are not fun and we are so happy that you had something enjoyable to think about while it was happening and yay for you for not having to go back to your vet until autumn, Precious!
ReplyDeleteYay for a good report. We loved your photos.
ReplyDeletePrecious I do love how your mind's eye transported you to the lovely festive Valentines and bday pawty.

ReplyDeleteIt's good to have warm memories to help through bad times. How about long times, as in, it's a long time to October! Good for you, Precious! Keep improving!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh Precious I did laugh at your post today - thank you for the laughter even though it was at your expense (sorry Precious) I loved the way you described how you howled all the way to Dr Feelbads & Yes you are allowed to say the H E double LL word dear Precious ... we can all relate how you feel. But that is wonderful news that your bloods were good & Mum must feel much relief at that. It is hard on her too when she has to take you to these places where they stick needles in you!!! I hope you got some treats when you got home again.
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful photos of you in all those places Precious ... sharing with your furry friends. I especially loved the hot cocoa one.
Wishing you some signs of spring soon in your area - we can feel autumn here & it is just as welcome. Have a great weekend both of you x0x0x
Love the optics of cars pulling over for the 'siren'!
ReplyDeleteToo funny about cars pulling over!!! Glad you got some good news :)
ReplyDeletePrecious...no wonder we are BFF's!!!! We are alike except for your leg time...well, our boyfriends...well, everything else is (except furs colors) the same!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you get a break from the vet. Great photos. I won't tell Brody about them. XO
ReplyDeleteOh Precious, I’m doing back flips over your super T4 report! Great news about not going back to Dr. Dracula until Oct! I giggled about cars pulling over! ๐น Lots of licks, ❤️ Rocky
ReplyDeleteSEEING YOU DRINKING COCOA WARMED MY HEART.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear, the vampire struck you again?? At ;east you know all is well! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a great adventure and as for the doctor, well, it’s a necessary evil and at least you know you are doing better.
ReplyDeleteThat is the sort of news we were busy praying for, Precious. Less time at the vets and more time with friends and at parties ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week
ERin
Dearest Precious, We are so happy that your patient acceptance (mol) of your terrible trials was rewarded by such good news. And how fortunate to have such lovely recent memories to contemplete whilst enduring the horrors of a visit to the v-e-t. We hope you have sufficiently recovered from your ordeal to come to Our Pawty this week. It wouldn't be the same without you.
ReplyDeletePrecious, we are sorry mew ended up at the vet again, hope all is well. We adore your cocoa drinking escapades, how exciting, it seems like mew are really living it up on the slopes, do tell us more!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness Precious, that hot cocoa picture is just the best!
ReplyDeleteHi Precious, Less visit to the vet is the best news! Mom and I love your hot coco pic! SO Precious! Juno xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear things are improving. I loved all the fun pictures.
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "We are glad to hear you don't have to go back for months and months, Precious! Snacks, lattes, and candlelight dinners all sound better than a trip to the V-E-T, and I don't even like candlelight dinners."
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "What's wrong with candlelight dinners?"
Charlee: "Mama won't let me knock the candles over."
Chaplin: "Oh of course."
I noticed that many bloggers use a cat theme for their blog layout, especially when they share stories about their cats. I love cats too! Big hello from Indonesia.
