Practicing safe self distancing still

"I did not have on a mask when I was outside on my catio.  But when Tuxie stopped by fur a word with me,  we kept our healthy distance.  Don't want to spread germs."

"We were discussin' farmin' methods fur the nippy plants."

"Lynn tries to keep a plant fur the neighbors to nosh on.
However, it can git down to a nubbin."

"Then the one in the fence to save it's life,  gits all broke and
chewed on and even SPRAYED!  And not with pesticide, let
me meow you."

"Tux said he'd keep on comin' by to git a bit of nip. And
I approved his visits."

And one reached up on the porch and ate the
Sunpatien that was recovering from the cold weather
and blooming quite well.

  3. Your tuxie friend is quite the handsome fellow, Precious, though I'm glad you're practicing social distancing all the same. 😺

Lynn's irises are gorgeous! Usually I see them in various shades of purple or yellow; the pinks are lovely.

Hmm, your deer are pests! Sweet, but pests. Lol.

  13. That is such a sweet photo of you & Tuxie dear Precious & you definately DO look like you're discussing farming methods there!!! Believe me - I've seen enough farming chit chat ... I can spot it a mile away!!!
Mums iris is especially lovely - if I lived close by I would certainly be asking her for a wee cutting off that. The deer really do tear at the plants, I can see that. It must be so frustrating for Mum, keeping the plants alive & out of their reach.
Have a great weekend Lynn & Precious - its sunny here after a week of non stop rain. I shall have the washing line full today! xx

  14. Charlee: "It's good to share your knowledge, and your Tuxie friend is very handsome!"
Chaplin: "Not that we are biased or anything."
Java Bean: "Ayyy, Mama has fences like that around her blackberry plants outside! Apparently someone keeps trying to either pee on them or dig around in them to get at the fertilizer packets."
Lulu: "Spoiler alert: Both those someones are Bean."

  15. Tuxie is wearing the appropriate outfit to visit YOUR yard, Precious.

  16. It is best to not get too close. I can imagine keeping a nip plant outdoors where there are stray and roaming owned cats wouldn't be easy.

  17. Okay, first of all—SPRAYED? 😂 Not the kind of ‘freshening up’ anyone asked for. Tux out here negotiating nip treaties like a tiny, furry diplomat. I respect the hustle.

But seriously, this fence saga is my new favorite soap opera. When’s the next episode? *Please* tell me there’s a rival cat syndicate moving in next."

  20. We are so happy that you and Tuxie get a long! Our furrend Lucifer, is still stopping by. Kozmo and Marv and me get along with him but we won't let him near our nip plant! We too have loads of visits from the deer. We have have fluctuated between the hots and colds here, but it has been super dry so Mom has the go bags for forest fires put together all ready. Mom did not notice but there were 2 Box Day posts in the blog line up. The one that Marv edited last night about us NOT Boxing was not posted until Mom copied all the stuff into this post. Good thing I wanted to write the Maltese Cat Day post! Take care Precious. Your grrl furrend Jo Jo
