Outside Company

"I was out one morn in the dark when a neighbor kitty stopped by fur a word with me."

"We touched noses for a moment and passed on impawtant
information to each other. One minute of  nose bops says more than a
thousand words.
This kitty belongs to a home just down
the road a bit but spends far too much time outside.  This is
the first we have made real contact as I normally am asleep in
the daytime when he comes by."

"We do not know his name.  But he was
so polite to me.  Old Blackie always hisses at
me nowadays.  It was nice to see a furiendly fur face.
But I know good and well this one also attacks my
nippy plant! Now it is bigger and has the fence,
but they are eating the top leaves they can reach!"

"As soon as kitty left and it got a bit lighter I had
another visitor.  This one just trundled past and had only
a few words to say.  "I gotta git to bed afore the sun
finds me."  It was Mr. O'Possum on his way home
furom a night out."

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and a comment.
It is much appreciated.

  2. That was nice of that cat to visit you and have a friendly nose bop. I wonder if Mr. O'Possum had a good night out. It was nice of him to have a quick word with you too on his way home, Precious.

  3. It's good to have visitors and catch up with the local news. Nice to see Mr O'Possum, too, when you wouldn't normally see him.

  10. Oh goodness me dear Precious - a sweet wee visitor. How special - did you discuss all cat things?? I think Little One would just love a cat visitor but I am sure Madam Pip would have her face screwed up tight & be doing that hissy thing she does.
I did not know it was National Pet Month - I think in our house it is national pet day every day of the week πŸ˜‰
Wishing you both a wonderful weekend, hope the weather is kind to you - its nice here today so I need to go hang washing on the line. x0x

  12. I'm glad your visitor was so polite, and Mr. Possum, too.

Is it really such a bad thing to share a little bit of your catnip? Think of how happy you are making these cats by sharing just a little.

Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!

  16. Precious, it's so wonderful to have Good Neighbours. It's one of the Most Impawtant things in the world. Of course, it's not right for them to steal your nip, but maybe their pawrents don't provide them with any. As long as they leave plenty for you, you can afford to be generous, right?

  17. It is so nice to have neighbours stop by! We do get a few in our yard! Lucifer comes by, as does Sunshine and Big Furry, Blackie and Cat! We (sometimes) go and visit them too! Well, Jo Jo doesn't...she stays in the yard. We love that you always stops by and sees us and today we are wishing Lynn Mother's Day Happiness! Pet Moms are magicians.
Everything they touches turns to love. Happy Mother's Day to your Mom!
    Keep being Awesome! Marvelous Marv

  18. Charlee: "It's nice that you were friendly with your neighbor, Precious! Whenever one of our neighborhood cats goes by, if Chaplin spots it, he gets all hissy and growly and bent out of shape."
Chaplin: "Well somebody has to protect the yard."
Lulu: "That is OUR job, Chaplin!"

  19. It's cool you are making some new furriends, Miss Precious. I think I'm taking on mom and dad's ways in that I don't much care to make new furriends. We three pretty much stick to ourselves here.

  20. Gosh Precious. I am always in the house but I have a parade of ladycats coming by. They don't leave their cards on the salver I have out there on the porch...so, who knows about their upbringing!
